It is the simplest most accommodating chager that I have ever used.

Lose a Surface power cord ir need an extra, this fits the bill.

My original cord broke a few months ago so I tried a different brand online from Amazon. When using the other one it got really hot and actually sparked when plugging in it in once. The cord on that on eventually sheered and I was able to get maybe 2 months use out of it. I also believe that the other branded one put out too much voltage since I could use my keyboard when plugged in. My suggestion: stick to the original Microsoft brand and save a lot of time and stress.

It's a Microsoft product. Works just like it is supposed to. Would like a less expensive option but nothing is available
