I bought the Microsoft brand charger bc the off brand one I bought to replace my original charge only lasted a year. Unfortunately, this one, like the original, disconnects in the middle. That attachment doesn't stay together very well so I still find myself with my computer not charging then seeing that part had come loose again. Other than that, it is better than the off brand one I bought last year in that it doesn't seem to overheat. I only recommend this item bc it is the one that comes with the computer and doesn't overheat.

The kids charger went bad and the school didn't have any back ups. Thankfully Bestbuy had chargers available so the kids can get their project done.

My previous power supply died so this new one has been quite reliable for my Surface.

The cord works as well as the original. More convenient location to get one,too!

Nice to be able to get a Microsoft cord for my Surface Pro. I have tried generic ones in the past and they just don't work. Will keep with actual Microsoft product. Lesson learned.

Great charger. It has a special charger box that you can put in a phone USB charger at the same time. Great magnet charging end so that it doesn't pull your computer if you happen to get up or trip over your wire.

Works well and it is as described. Need it as a backup.

Unexpectedly the wire on the charger for my Surface Pro broke while I was in the middle of a project. Hurried out to my local Best Buy, they had a replacement, within 20 minutes I was back up and working. I would give this charger 5 stars if they had beefed up the weak points of the cords. I'm sure down the road I'll be making another trip to the store to get another charger for the same reason.

Nice, compact unit for recharging Microsoft Surface tablet. Appreciate the USB port for charging a second device like a phone.
