Overpriced Proprietary Charger

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a proprietary cable that you can't buy 3rd party so Microsoft basically jacked up the price. I've had 2 others break on me in the past and each cost upwards of $80 just for a charger. Also, the magnet charger is bad.

Product appears to be fragile

I've not had my Surface Pro a year yet and have had to replace the charger due to it coming loose where the charger attaches to the Surface Pro. Still love the surface pro but wondering if there is there is a way to safeguard this from happening.
