Honestly, it's the same as the original in box. Which means that it seems to have the cord bend in interesting ways sometimes from being set up as a tablet or whatnot. And the original is losing connection. I'm glad I can get a new one, but it isn't any better.

Needed to get an extra charger for my Surface Pro 3.

The cord tears too easily. I purchased it at the end of November and it has already stopped working due to a tear.

Seems odd that in less than a year, I had to replace the cord for my surface, but that is what was needed. Hopefully this one will last longer. I will say that service was great and the geek squad person at Madison West Best Buy was fantastic.

We needed a charger for our surface and decided not to use an off brand. So, it works perfectly fine, but I hate that it’s so expensive!

I have had to buy several of these charges within the past few nonths and they are expensive. They do not work after only a few months. Its like something happens to them.

I have found that the Surface Pro wall charger doesn't live up to my expectations for a wall charger. This is my second wall charger purchase for my Surface Pro, with the first charger lasting only one year with slight use.

Terrible! I would gladly give zero stars. These work fine until they physically break 1-6 months later. So sick of buying these as they are expensive!

There are so many typed of power connectors out/available, what is the need for such a screwball connector? They even have different ones for different versions Surfaces. It works fine, but I'm getting tired new connectors.

Returned for less expensive product. This was an authentic Microsoft product so was 4x more expensive.

Do yourself a favor a look for another laptop that dose NOT use this charger cable. These are not built to last and seem to break for no reason at all. Taking into consideration that they cost approximately over $100 each I’ve spent close to $400 on replacement cables alone. Could’ve bought a new laptop. These are by far the worst cables around and I will NEVER EVER PURCHASE a Microsoft Laptop again!!

Does exactly what it is supposed top do but at a cost, $80 is far to expensive, especially as you can find an alternative elsewhere for $30 will the same build quality

Summary says it all... in some cases the length of the cord is not an issue... but in quite a few, it is not a long enough cord. Other than that, it does what it was intended to do with no issue.

Works okay. Having issues with it charging all the time. The guy at Bestbuy said this was the right one but it doesn't always connect to charge.
