Good, but expensive

Generally too expensive, but gets the job done.

Great backup unit to have

Thankfully, my surface pro 4 had enough stamina to last most of my first day on the road so I zipped over to the local Best Buy to pick up a spare. While not cheap, this charger has good build quality and it's about the only option Microsoft gives you. One of my favorite features of this power adapter is the USB charger that's built into the adapter brick. I love being able to charge my iPhone without an additional adapter or robbing precious USB real estate from my Surface.

But pricey and should be included as part of protection plan u buy. Also, wish they had off brand adapters that were less expensive
