    Stick with the original adaptor from Microsoft, Don’t purchase that cheap Amazon adapter before you actually regret it. There been times my tablet froze. This is the reason why I went to my local Best Buy and was completely happy with it.

    I purchased this as a travel charger so I would not have to disconnect the one that came with my surface. No problems same as original charging cord. I had a hard time finding one at other stores, glad I was able to find it at Best Buy and at a fair price compared to what I found online. Be careful some of the ones online only included part of the charger (it comes in two parts).
