Can’t beat the original

When using the other one it got really hot and actually sparked when plugging in it in once. The cord on that on eventually sheered and I was able to get maybe 2 months use out of it. I also believe that the other branded one put out too much voltage since I could use my keyboard when plugged in. My suggestion: stick to the original Microsoft brand and save a lot of time and stress.

Extra USB plug while charging

Only complaint is the wire is very thin and my cat was able to chew through this cord. My previous laptop cords were very thick and wish this one was too. Just wish it was cheaper too.
