Optimus Prime Mouse of the Century

Love it. Never considered it due to price and you can get the other surface mouse that has direct connect Bluetooth (no dongle) but does not transform like Optimus Prime. I saw my dad had an older version and saw/understood the advantages of the Optimus Prime option...which is collapsing, in a sense, to become so slime and compact that it takes up minimal room in my bags and fits in all my bags in multiple different locations/pockets that a regular, even slim-“ish”, style mouse would not or would get damage possibly. If you are looking for an on the go mouse for your surface or any other compatible devices with this mouse, then I highly recommend purchasing even with the additional cost. If you are looking for a mouse that won’t leave your desk, then personal decision will have to be used for decision making...still buy it, as you never know when you’ll need to bug out and you won’t have an Optimus Prime Transforming mouse rather a bulky, inconvenient, pain in the rear to pack and go mouse.

Compact, low profile laptop travel mouse

I often have to grab my laptop and mouse for meetings out of the office. My normal mouse is quite bulky in a jacket pocket or laptop bag. I wanted something I could keep in my laptop bag all the time that was flat and easily transportable. I saw a coworker used one of these, so I decided to try it. It's wireless and connects seamlessly when I bend it. Flattening it turns it off to save battery life. Very pleased with it.

Comfort & convenience in a compact Bluetooth Mouse

The MS Surface Arc mouse (in any color) is a great companion mouse for any portable computing need. Don't restrict the market to just MS Surface Pro tablets or Surface Notebooks - this mouse is great for anyone who needs a mouse on the go. The Surface Arc Mouse line is comfortable, with a silicone covered body and a smooth plastic click button (that conveniently registers both left and right clicks through the single button). It also powers on and off by "snapping" down flat. I use this mouse for my MacBook Pro and my HP Folio notebooks. It stores easily in any pocket of my backpack, and the AAA batteries last a good duration and don't require intermittent charging. (Sometimes disposable batteries are actually more convenient.)

Great mouse but kinda trades comfort for style.

I'll be honest, I bought the arc mouse just because it looked pretty cool. And it still is. It has been my daily driver, replacing a Logitech M510 but as fancy looking and cool its shortcuts are, there is no weight to the mouse. So, for office work and extreme productivity, it's a solid buy. Also to note, the clickable part of the mouse tends to get smudgy. Not a big deal to clean but it's something to be aware of.

Works great. Doesn’t use much battery, it’s slim and easy to tuck in a bag. Haven’t had any tech issues with it either. Has a bit of a weird shape for my had but can easily get used to

Very compact for transport. Just bend the device and the mouse is on and ready. Flatten out out again and it is off, easy to stuff into a compact tablet sleeve pocket. No issues with Bluetooth connectivity at all. Not quite as comfortable as a larger "standard" mouse, but not uncomfortable at all. I think it is a very good mouse for my intended purpose....very transportable and reasonably functional.

Open box in excellent condition despite being listed merely as good. Happy with the condition and delivery but the product just isn’t for me. Felt of good quality but didn’t fit well in my hand. Eventually returned but I’d recommend for the right fit

I love the styling of this mouse. The way it turns on and off and saves space for transport when flat. I am still getting used to the lack of a roller scroller at the top, but think I am going to be just fine.

If you're coming from a normal mouse, then this may take some getting used to. Sometimes you may click in the wrong area of the mouse and it will right-click instead of left-click. It really is a good mouse once you get used to it. Would I recommend it to someone who works fast and may get frustrated easily? No. However, if you're willing to try a sleek new product that may take some getting used to, this is a good one. Very smooth and functions well. Battery lasts a decent amount of time (AAA). I used it heavily for about 6 months before I needed to change the battery. Mind you, it had 5% left.

Probably the best travel mouse out there. Connects instantly when opened, long battery life and not too bad on the ergonomics either. Better than most regular mouses on the market.

Very nice, comfortable, and very responsive. The only VERY slight issue i have noticed is that the mouse tends to move when making a click, which moves the cursor off the button, link, spot, etc. that you are attempting to click.
