I read so many iffy reviews on this I was hesitant to try it but with Best Buy's great return policy (especially for Elite members) I was confident that I wouldn't be losing anything either way. This mouse has far exceeded my expectations. It's possible that is because I had lowered them after reading but I haven't found any of the issues I've seen talked about. 1) Setup: When using this with my new Surface Pro 7 I pulled the tab out of the battery pack and clicked the mouse into place to turn it on and the tablet saw and asked to connect immediately. Of course I said yes and after a short driver setup the mouse was working with no issues. 2) Connectivity: I have had no issues with the mouse connecting as soon as I click it into place. It also works perfectly from 10-20 ft across the room. I love being able to click turn the mouse on, do some quick work with it, then fold it flat and set it aside. It's been a lot more useful than I thought it would be. 3) Ergonomics: I have pretty big hands and have had no issues sliding the mouse around with my palm or just my fingertips. When clicked into place it actually feels like most of the other "ergonomic" mice I'm working with. 4)Tracking: Seems to be as accurate as any other mouse I have for my work though I haven't tried to do any fine detailed work with it since the Surface Pen is so great for that. Works well enough to quickly navigate with, play games, and copy, paste, and edit scripts on multiple workspaces. The sensor also seems to work on any surface. I started using it on my bare leg and it worked great on there though anything will work better on a properly textured workspace or mousepad. 5) Portability: This is actually a huge plus for me. This mouse slides perfectly into one of the notebook slots inside of the Timbuk2 classic messenger bag. The other notebook slot fits my aircard. It's a perfect and powerful setup with the i7 Surface Pro 7. I would definitely recommend getting this mouse and if you're unsure you can always try it out and return it within the return period (which currently during the holiday is sometime in early January, a two month trial won't hurt).

Bought this for my iPad pro. Works very well. This color goes with the platinum iPad. There is a slight lag, but still good. Love how flat it gets to pack away. However it is an expensive mouse. I waited for the Thanksgiving deal.

    Sleek, but has limitations

It looks really gorgeous, fits well in the hand, and turns off by flattening it. But if you need to left- and right-click simultaneously, it won't work. Scrolling is a bit shaky, too.

I bought this mouse to use with my laptop that has a mouse pad that I can't quite figure out. It is very ergonomic, very responsive. I also love the fact that it can be flattened which makes it easy to carry anywhere. Once sync it links automatically when you turn it on. Microsoft hit this one out of the ball park.

I was looking for a great travel mouse. I like the size and functionality of this mouse. Build quality is great and it works as advertised. It takes a while to get used to the shape. The scrolling pad is showing some minimal wear. I am a little worried about how it will look over time, but we will see. Other than that, it is a great mouse if you want something thin, light, and with good battery life.

    Neat Idea - Mediocre Realization

The surface arc mouse has a very slick design. It is neat, and practical, that it flattens so that it doesn't take a lot of space in the case. It is also very extremely useful that it turns off when flat, and on when arced. However, the surface arc is not ergonomically well designed - there is almost no curvature perpendicular to the arc shaped direction. The scroll pad is a neat idea, but the sensitivity could have been optimized a bit more. I don't mind not having to distinct buttons, but, for some reason, it often does a left click when I try to right click it, even if I press the far right edge of it. There are a few other minor drawbacks - it would have been nice had it been rechargeable and not with external batteries (although I'm not sure that's necessarily better), and if they could have find a way to add a middle button that would have been nice as well. To summarize, neat idea - mediocre realization. would have considered it an OK mouse for a third of the cost, but not at this price.

Sleeker design than my last one, which I lost. I had to get another one! I really love that it stores flat to fit nicely in my briefcase, and when on and curved, fits nicely in my hand and glides smoothly, scroll down is smooth and a light touch as well.

Slim for easy storage, convenient 4-way swipe when needed (beats using a wheel that’s just another moving part) and gets the job done. Easy to power off by just collapsing flat.

This device is exceptionally nice to use and easy to store and carry around. It is lightweight, powers off via flattening (not the usual tiny switch on the bottom); and the flattened mouse is very easy to carry or store. It has worked flawlessly with my Microsoft SurfacePro Laptop in various environments.

This one I actually bought for my girlfriend. I have the exact same one and I recommended it to her. I have had mine for almost a year and haven’t had to change the battery. In fact, the battery still says it’s at 78% after a year of use! Super easy to transport!

Love my new bluetooth mouse. Would always lose the USB portion of previous ones. This also folds flat for easy storage. Very comfortable. Only downside is you cannot left click to drag (hold down) then simultaneously right click, (only have to do this in CorelDraw.) Highly recommend.

This is the best model of Microsoft Mouse. Arc Mouse folds flat and turns off power. Incredible battery life (two "AA" batteries). Soft to the touch, precise, easy to clean. This mouse is well worth its price..

I want to like this more, I really do. It's a great idea and I love the product design, and its slim form fits great in laptop sleeves or even pants pockets. Problem is the empty "arc" leaves no place for your fingers to rest, so they dangle awkwardly or rest on the mousepad. I've used it for months and it's still not entirely comfortable. Also, the button is just a giant track pad, which very cool that it works as left-click, right-click, and multi-finger scrolling. But Microsoft could have made an optional mode where it functions AS a trackpad, and it becomes an air remote useful for presentations or remote control of a media PC.

Would have been five stars easily as there's no longer a dongle it's very smooth to operate but the paint comes off within a month from your fingers unlike all the previous generations. Still using it and works fine but there's a nice line in the middle from my thumb from scrolling up and down where the paint is completely faded. (Didn't get much worse even after the first month and had it quite a while now) oh yeah one other thing that I thought was important this one does not vibrate when you're scrolling up or down like all the other previous generations I was kind of disappointed by that but over time I got used to it. I still think for the price they want which I think was $70 I paid $49.99 that the paint shouldn't come off it should have the vibration motor and they should make skins for them if they're going to make the paint come off that easily so you can change it to whatever color you want and include one free. Also have the custom Chinese dragon version of the previous model that used a dongle and that still works flawlessly.

Love the re-design for this wireless mouse. It lays flat when not in use. Its also has no spin wheel to move your on screen cursor up or down the page - just put slight pressure on the mouse pad section and it will scroll pages up / down and move them. Sleek and easy to use .
