I have a wooden desk, though, and where the glip/slider bar at the top, where the mouse rubs against surfaces, does not move the smoothest, and can be noisy.

Honestly, I prefer using the mouse as oppose to the pad though I am at times surprised at how accurate is my pad.

Great mouse for my Surface laptop!

There is a learning curve when using it. The mouse doesn’t feel the same as a standard mouse and takes some getting used to especially when navigating the cursor around the screen

I really liked the fact that it used Bluetooth instead of a USB receiver. However, the angle of the mouse is much different than the older version and it bothered my hand after a regular period of use. That did not happen with my older mouse. I ended up returning this product. My advice would be to try the mouse in a store before buying to make sure it sits well in your hand.
