I purchased this for my daughter, a full time college student. She has used it for over a year and absolutely loves it. Her coursework was very heavy as she completed her Associates Degree in one year. I highly recommend this and will be buying another one for my next daughter headed to college.

Purchased this item for grad school and am pretty pleased with it. The removable tablet function is amazing, and the ability to touch/draw/scroll on the monitor in addition to using the mouse helps me work in any way that suits me (especially useful in confined spaces). My only critique is that the processing occasionally lags, which can be a little annoying when you’re trying to highlight a number of fields. However, the responsiveness and detail available with the pen is phenomenal.

Bought this for my daughter in college who is art inclined. She uses it constantly for homework and doing digital art. The flexible form factor and hardy build make this a great tool. The cost is definitely in the premium category, but is well worth the expenditure, if one will use it as a laptop and a tablet.

After playing around with it for a month, I can comfortably say it's met my expectations. The touch controls are very user-friendly and the devices versatile configuration allows me to work comfortably in different environments. However, I bought this laptop to help facilitate my work as a freelancer by allowing me to run software designed for Windows. I've had some difficulty downloading and running authorized free trials for a few programs and for that reason I give it 4 stars.

I'm total in love with the easy of detachment. The 2-in-1 feature is wonderful. If anything I would suggest if you plan to use this for multiple applications to get a higher memory. It works wonderful for my purpose. It is high priced for this type of laptop but still a lovely device, nonetheless.

Daughter will be using it for college. So far it is fulfilling all of her needs as a first year student.

I bought this to replace my Surface Pro 4. This laptop is beautifully built and engineered. Everything works flawlessly and Windows 10 is getting better as well. The pen experience with this is so much better than my old version. Overall, this machine has to be one of the best Windows laptops out there.

This laptablet tries really hard to be everything I need, but misses the mark tripping over itself doing so. The tablet is HEAVY, and as such has almost no battery life. If you want it to be a 10 hour device you'll have to be connected to the base. It stands apart from it's ancestors by having a USB-C connection, and both the Surface Laptop, and my "new" Surface Pro 6 are both stuck in George Orwell's 1984 with the proprietary magnetic charger. The screen quality is amazing, but anything less would not be what Surface is becoming known for. The keyboard/battery is very good, crisp, and responsive, plus it gives you additional ports. The hinge is slightly wobbly, but show me a tablet that is not. The total weight and poor battery life are why I took it back, but that is not to suggest this is not the perfect answer for many users out there. When I returned it I got the Surface Pro 6, so that says something about the product line, especially from a Samsung guy who has had ever Samsung Tablet (but will never own another after the Tab s5e fiasco.
