Luckly I have had my new one for a few months now and really love it. I definitely recomend getting the warranty if you are going to buy this product.

The headphone jack is also on the top of the laptop screen so it's annoying when trying to listen to music or wear a headset in use.

When it works it's amazing

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just 5 months after purchasing this device I allowed it to do a Windows update and was not able to use the machine for weeks after that (wouldn't power on, scheduling a consultation with Geek Squad was a nightmare and at least 2-3 weeks out. They did get the device shipped off for "repair/replacement" and just a few WEEKS later, I stupidly allowed another Windows update and now my machine is no longer charging.

We are a non profit that uses this computer for education and we have to raise money for every aspect of what we do. Best Buy would not replace the battery or help us get a new one. This was $1300 when we purchased it. That's a lot of money for a computer battery to only last 18 months.

I was really excited about the capabilities. In the first few weeks I noticed a few small problems (computer gets REALLY hot in tablet mode), but I didn't let it bother me too much. Then one day I opened my computer and there was a random scratch starting just around the camera and going across the entire screen. I started doing some research and it seems like this is an issue based on how you close or pick up the computer due to the hinge design causing a glass-on-metal connection that makes the computer incredibly fragile. Had I known this, I would not have bought this computer. Now neither Best Buy or Microsoft will do anything because they say it is "accidental damage", even though it is really something that normal everyday use could produce. DO NOT buy this computer.
