The product is really really great. The sales job on the extra geek squad install and custom service set up and training from geek squad missed the mark substantially. I would still consider it but would force a geek squad person to be included in the purchase decision. Vast difference between service sold and itemized vs delivered. Tooooooo much left to interpretation.

This is my 8th laptop and it is excellent. I replace a 2-year old Asus with it and I've never had a Microsoft laptop before so I was hesitant, but it out performs anything I've used other than my desktop computer.

My Surface Book 2 has 99% of what I needed. The only thing lacking is a thunderbolt C port. That said, all the accessories I owned before purchasing this computer work perfectly. I love being able to use it as a tablet. This purchase was worth the price as there was no other computer with equal features.

I upgraded from the Surface Pro 4 and couldn't be happier! The ability to use this as a tablet or laptop is great, even better I can use it on my lap and not worry about the kickstand falling off my legs! Or in my case I balance it on a dog since personal space doesnt exist.

We bought this for a dental practice - it can run our xray sensors, VPN into our dental software, and show off Invisalign cases with stellar graphics and speed. This is the second EXACT Surface Book 2 that I own (two dental offices) - I have had the first for over a year.

I bought this laptop because I needed good CPU performance. I wasn't disappointed. The feel is sturdy. The graphics are flexible with two graphics cards. I'm driving two displays with it. The only disappointment is the USB-C port is not Thunderbolt compatible.

Loved it at first until I began using it more and more with pen for artwork. Gets so hot that becomes uncomfortable to use. Fearful that it will catch on fire! Bought a cooling pad that defeats the purpose of having a laptop. Even when connected to printer to scan artwork, heats up. Have tried all suggestions found online - stop background tasks, lower power setting, etc. This is a major defect IMO and I would not purchase again. Very, very disappointed in Microsoft and hate that I spent $2500 for a seriously defective product.

This is the best two in one I’ve owned. I’m very picky, and I kept my Sony Vaio Duo Slider for over 5 years because I couldn’t find anything worth replacing it. Well, this one fits the bill plus some. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s pretty expensive.

Great laptop! Use the tablet for notetaking and textbook reading (college). And the laptop overall for video editing and more. Storage capacity here is good. Some issues with connecting and disconnecting from WiFi, but seems to be getting itself fixed/updated as needed.

this laptop is grate for studying and engineering students a majority of the students i have class with are using this and everyone love them just remember when buying to get more than you need because they cant be upgraded for ram or graphics

This is my second Surface Book. The first was purchased just over 3 years ago when they first came out. The battery recently swelled and pushed out the screen. Took it to Microsoft Store and they said it was not covered by Microsoft even though they acknowledged this was a common problem with the first generation Surface Book. I really loved the versatility of this computer so I bit the bullet and bought a new second generation model. this newer model has split the large single battery behind the screen into two smaller ones - one behind screen and second in the keyboard. For the price, I expected much more from Microsoft regarding repair or credit after only 3 years.

After much research & review, I have concluded that the MS Surface 2 is the BEST bet for a Windows 10 2 in 1 laptop. This is especially true if one is looking for 2x cameras & a tablet experience! Only negative & why I gave 4x stars rather than 5x is the fact that MS did not add a Thunderbolt port. Go for it, my friends!

I've always been a Macbook fan. Going to this was a difficult choice but I needed to for school. I don't miss the Mac anymore. This is the best Windows enabled computer I have ever used. It is still just as good many months later

Great performance in 13.5” Laptop/tablet combination

This is my first laptop, so I don't have any other to compare it with, but I do have a PC, and a phablet, so with these to make comparisons with, I must say that I am quite pleased with my choice of this convertible laptop!

I’m always been an Apple person but when I had an opportunity to get a new computer for work and I looked into the Microsoft surface I found that it would be perfect for my needs and I could take it home and continue to do work if I needed.

I decided to switch back to PC after years of Macbook Pros. This is certainly the ultimate computer for personal and travel purposes. I work on it 9 hours per day and then come home to surf the web. It's awesome.

I was working off an old Microsoft Surface for years and loved it. Decided to get the Surface Pro for my next work computer and absolutely love it. Highly recommend. Can be used as tablet, or laptop. Great product overall.
