I got this to replace my laptop+Wacom combo it's doing alright so far. Love how light and portable it is.

This is actually my very first 2 in 1 laptop which is exactly what I am looking for in my meetings and note taking. Super awesome with the Surface Pen. Downside i can say is when removing the keyboard and just using the monitor, the battery life really short. You can rotate the monitor and still use the battery attached to the keyboard even though its heavy but does not really bother me. Above all glad to have a product I'm familiar with but in a laptop and tablet mode.

Haven’t used this computer too much yet, but the computer is well built and so far performs as expected.

I am a lawyer and this laptop is helping me to move quickly from one document to another seamlessly.

Bought this for my daughter absolutely loves it. She said very easy to use . Can do lots of school work on it.

This laptop is light so you can take it with you on the go. It is also great to edit pictures.

This has the bestest feeling keyboarded I have ever encountered. This is basically surface pro without the kickstand and without the alcantara keyboard. Instead, it has a gtx 1050 graphic card put in a full size keyboard. The only down side I find is the significant weight the keyboard adds. If this is going to be your major computer, I would strongly recommend it, but if it is more for lighter use, I would go with the surface pro.

I really love that the top comes off and you can use it like an iPad. Works great..

The Microsoft Surface is a great laptop and it is one of the best pieces of technology in the office!

Works great, even in tablet mode. Connected to dock with external monitor works like a charm.

My first PC and I like how user friendly it was. This has been a good transition from my Mac. I still like the Mac OS however this is a solid product.

I've owned several Surface computers, including the Pro, Laptop, and now this Surface Book 2. I've been very happy with all of them, but the Book is turning out to be a disappointment, especially since it's by far the most expensive Surface I own. The removable screen is clever, but I rarely use it. I don't fault Microsoft for that. I fell for the "cool" factor without careful consideration of how useful that feature would be. Unless you know for sure that the tablet mode of the Book will be helpful to you, I recommend saving money and going with the Surface Laptop. Several months ago, the Book started shutting down without warning when the battery level would get to around 20-30%. Previously, the system would alert me of the need to charge the battery, but now, no such warnings appear. The computer instantaneously turns off with no shutdown protocol. I'm able to connect to the dock and restart, but unsaved files are lost. The computer is still under warranty. I contacted Microsoft chat support, and the only solution the agent could recommend was a firmware update that I think had already been installed. I installed the file she sent me, but the problem persists. Today, I've been waiting for a chat agent for nearly 3 hours. I'm finally down to number five in the queue. I thought the Surface Book 2 would be the pinnacle of the Surface series, but right now, it does not feel like it was a wise investment.

I have only used my new Surface for a few weeks and bought this for primarily for personal use. It was extremely easy to set up and I have not had any issues as of yet. I contemplated buying the Surface or comparable HP brand but have used HP at work and too many problems. Also don't even miss not having the number key pads. Not a big selection on covers but looking to purchase UAG plasma cover.

I think this is the best convertible tablet out there unless you are a Mac person.

Yes it was on the expensive side, but worth every penny! I debated over screen size and eventually went with smaller 13” screen and glad I did. Anything bigger would have been awkward to use as a tablet. Love the touch screen and the pen I got to go with it is a fun addition for doodling. Very fast machine and with Windows 10 and facial recognition with multiple profiles, logging in to use it takes just moments. Glad I bought it.

Overall, the laptop is great. Nice resolution, good GPU, fair amount of RAM, all that good stuff. One thing that I personally don't like and that's where the speakers are placed; on the tablet portion of the laptop. It surprised me as I expected small speakers on the keyboard and the tablet. But, all in all, it's a very reliable laptop that's great for pretty much everything including light gaming.
