I love the feel of the Surface Book. It isn't too heavy yet is well constructed. I love the useful features as well as the speed of operations. I would recommend the Surface Book to my friends.

I am far from a power user, so I don't use much of this functionality. I was surprised that I couldn't power up twice. I used another computer to find out that I had to hold down the power and volume buttons for 30 seconds to get it to turn on. Also, the included solitaire game does not work correctly. No one has been able to help me correct that problem.

The surface book is incredible. It is the perfect blend of laptop and tablet. Not to mention the design is stunning. The only thing I will tell people is that understand why you are buying this device. It is not a powerhouse by any stretch of the imagination. Even the top of the line model is not competitive with others at this price point. With that being said it does what it is designed to do flawlessly. I am a student and it is a joy to use in my classes and it makes school a breeze. Microsoft is doing great work with the surface lineup! Keep it up. I will be a long time customer for sure. Also check out the surface studio if you aren't a believer in how amazing the lineup is.

I'm a beginner with photoshop and I wanted to buy this laptop to make my job more pleasant. I totally recommend this laptop to my friends. It is so easy to use. The pen is amazing! I just love it.

I love this laptop!! Its the perfect size, fast, screen touch, detachable, lighted keys and more. by far the best laptop I've ever had. I highly recommend for you next purchase!

I have set the rating at 4 stars only because of the initial issue with being unable to successfully read/write to network mapped drives, I exchanged the unit for a new device and it is working successfully. So, 5 stars for the replacement! The first device was problematic from the very start, but the replacement is 100% satisfactory. It is used primarily for business with some casual browsing. While still trying to make myself like "Edge" the computer itself was no challenge. Battery life is exceptional.

The surface book is really fun to use for both work and play!

Surface Book is beautifully designed and light weight. Resolution is excellent. Easy to switch between desktop and tablet modes. Startup is seven times faster than my previous laptop.

This very sleek design makes my employees happy. It's not bulky at all and weighs less than most tablets. The keyboard is very useful unlike most of the keyboards attached to other tablet type units!

I hesitated for a long time to buy my Surface Book. I did not want to have any doubts after purchasing it. I went into Best Buy numerous times to look at it and ask questions. Trying to decide between the Surface Pro options and the Surface Book options. I don't do a lot of "fancy" stuff with my lap top so I always bought inexpensive ones. But I really loved the idea about a very lightweight lap top and I was really loving the idea of the Tablet option. I think watching the TV show "Bull" helped to spike my fever, (they use them on the show). I am still learning what I can actually do with my Surface Book but I am not sorry I spent the money!!!

The Surface Book is a great computer. The graphics capability even with the entry model is very, very good. Battery life has proven very good so far. It is light and is seamless with Win10.

I've used this to present to large groups. The pen and touchscreen capabilities are great tools for highlighting or making changes to the document presented. No more need for a pointer.

It has only been a few weeks but the surface 2 in 1 is a great laptop and handy tablet when necessary. Windows 10 was an adjust for me but love this device.

Haven't fully gotten to know my new Surface yet but really like it so far. Touch screen is great and computer is fast. Voice recognition is not consistent but hoping it will get better over time.

Unlike a tablet to which you can connect a keyboard, this is first and foremost a proper laptop. It has full laptop functionality with USB ports for connecting peripherals. Then the fun starts. The screen can be completely detached to use as a stand-alone tablet with all the touchscreen capabilities of a standard tablet. But you can also reverse the screen and reattach it to the keyboard. In this mode, you can type on the keyboard while allowing someone in front of you to see the screen; or you can fold the screen completely down over the keyboard and use only the touchscreen but still have access to the USB ports. Best of all worlds!

So far so good. Got off to a rough start because the piece had inoperable software, so I had to bring it back in for almost a week to get that cleaned up. All seems to be in order as of now. Not at a point of being totally sold on the product. Was even told by one staffer that the product has a history of being problematic.

As a somewhat creative girl I've always been told to get a Mac, but I just can't seem to do it. I love Windows and the ease of use. That being said this was the natural choice for me. I even did a lot of research on this product before purchasing and all signs were pointing me in this direction. I am not disappointed. As a matter of fact I couldn't be more pleased. I even did away with my desk-top with no regrets. The only thing I would have done differently is get one with more memory, but that would have been significantly more pricey. That just wasn't an option at this time. That's what an external hard drive is for.

I purchased a few of these for work and I have ever to say I'm really impressed. The system spreed is amazing, Windows 10 runs like a champ, and the laptop to tablet design it genius. I would definitely recommend this purchase.

Purchased this to have an alternate computer to test and play with. It's been working great for me - only potential downside is the known issue with one of the MS updates and the wireless NIC driver. Backed out of that update, and it's been running smoothly ever since.

4 stars only because i have just recently begun to use it...still exploring the many features of this unit, so far so good. definitely an improvement from my old toshiba purchased over 7 years ago which was finally becoming bogged down with instability issues. this little gem has a clean, sleek look, and with the detachable screen it transforms easily into tablet mode. i love the speed and responsive function of the surface. the stylus is great for sketching and i've been getting good results working with the incredible painting apps that are available. navigating is smooth and accurate. i think this was a wise purchase promising to be a versatile user friendly tool for quite a while.
