Light wieght, powerful, and economical laptop. I was considering in purchasing a mac but this is by far a better purchase!

Used to hate windows until I got the surface book. Always been a Mac person. I think you can definitely compare the two product. Mac is a bit more pricy than surface. But don’t under estimate what it can do!

I would first like to say that I had no intention of purchasing the Surface Book when I first went into Best Buy. I had originally looked at buying the HP Specter but settled on this instead. Here's why: 1. The Surface Book felt solid all the way through. It felt durable to me. 2. I love how the screen can pop off and be used in tablet mode, or flipped around and used as a display stand. 3. Windows 10 Professional can standard. 4. And the biggest feature that had me hooked was its writing feature. I could actually use the included pen as a writing tool. That means when I write, I could actually rest my hand on the screen without any problems. That's a huge feature for me because of the business that I'm in. If you're looking for a solid business laptop, look no further.

Overall, very happy with this unit. Lightweight and easy to use. Very durable too.

I got this computer to work with Photoshop for non-professional digital art and doing everyday surfing and entertainment. I was nervous that it would lag down running a large program and big files but I have yet to have that happen to me. The tracking on the pen works wonderful and although not completely perfect it gives me the feeling of drawing pen to paper. My only real frustration with this is that I wish that you could edit the functions on the click of the pen to do functions like undo or paste.

I love my new Surface Book. The ability to covert from a laptop to a digital pad with the touch of a button is amazing. The keyboard is crisp and the display is sharp and beautiful. The unit is thin and very portable and the screen is much larger than the Surface 3 or 4. My only negative would be the speed...it seems to have some hesitation when accessing web pages, opening applications, etc. other than that, I am very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this because I needed a system that could be used both as a laptop and a desktop. The docking station option was a must-have and something that many other 2-1 laptops didn't offer. I thought this was a bit expensive - but my solution was to find a 128GB micro SD card and adapter to double the storage capacity of the system for less money than the 256GB version was. The battery power in tablet mode is quite poor - but overall with the keyboard attached, I get good life.

I love the surface book. Easy to use and the speed. I do my business on this and this is by far the best book out there!

love this laptop, I travel for work just about every week and this item is light and the battery lasts a very long time

Great 2 in 1 laptop. Very easy to use and much enjoy that it has a very well built keyboard. Only complaints the touch screen doesn't work in far corners anymore and volume buttons on keyboard work sometimes, but not others.

Looks great, lighter weight than my old laptop. Love being able to use a the touchscreen and keyboard in one product.

This thing is the most convenient and user friendly laptop & tablet that I have ever owned. The pen is awesone too.

As a work tool, the Surface Book delivers great flexibility. Between the detachable, superior definition display and its digital stylus, the Surface Book is excellent for work. The stylus enables taking notes on documents. The higher definition enables work on detailed spreadsheets - the larger size is also better than the Surface Pro. Beyond being just for work, with screen detached, it is also a wonderful tablet for videos with fantastic definition and extremely light weight.

Purchased for photography classes and love how easy it is to use! Lots of storage and super fast. Great for editing

I found the Surface Book to be a better fit for running my business. The enhanced security requirements and features are awesome. I’m looking forward to learning more about the Book and how they will enhance my workflow.

The Surface book is lightweight and very portable. It's very snappy and did not give me any problems when multi-tasking.

I love the drawing capabilities! The different pen tips are a plus! The speakers work great compared to my last laptop! I do wish the adaptors were not so limited and that there were more of a variety of protect cases.

We were looking at the surface pro 4 but decided to go a little further for both my husband and I and it is great.

i have own all of the surface models since they have come out. i can honestly say this is by far the best one yet as well as best laptop i have ever owned.
