Great laptop for a college student. Would recommend

Excellent full computer capabilities with lightweight portability

Could not see myself going to an Apple product and this was the equivalent. Would not entertain the idea of the Surface 3 or 4 as no hinge mechanism is provided. This computer solved that and now I can stick to my traditional sense of a laptop computer.

My wife enjoys using it. She finds it easy to use the pen.

Our salesman was beyond helpful. Our daughter was not sure which 2 in 1 laptop she wanted for college. Our salesman was extremely knowledgeable about every detail of each laptop. Ultimately we were able to make the best decision due to his fantastic knowledge. My daughter love the Microsoft Surface Book.

I purchased this device originally because of my xbox,& Microsoft. I've put years of purchases via Xbox & wanted a product to view those purchases outside the living room( wherever ), plus I found myself going online more often & the Xbox was ok, but this better. I thought it would be easier to navigate & set up however. I'm not a computer guy.

It's bit expensive but overall good to use. I love my laptop

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and I'm honestly in love. I take all my notes on it, plan events for my organization using it, and use it as a recipe book for when I cook! I've had some problems with the pen syncing (which required a full system reset to solve) but since the reset (which happened in the first few days) things have been great!

This is one of the best devices I've purchased. It works great, the bugs that people were saying they were experiencing with detaching and reattaching the screen, I don't see after updates, so it seems they have been worked out. It's expensive, but if you've got the money for it, it works like a charm.

Really solid overall. Feels substantial and runs quiet and cool. Screen detachment is neat as an idea, but you'll rarely if ever do it. I bought it to teach coding languages with specifically because of the screen and I have yet to actually use it for the purpose I intended. Still a nice screen as far as Windows PCs go.

Once again Best Buy in Lynchburg Virginia came through and took care of my needs. Arron the Store Manager was awesome and got me hooked up. It was a graduation gift for my son. He will be able to use this in college for years to come!!

I'm most familiar with Microsoft operating systems, and have a MS desktop and laptop. My iPad is useful, but limiting without a USB port. Surface has everything i've been looking for. Very crisp graphics, and the stylus pen is a great asset. Planning to get the surface pro for a family member.

Wanting something different from my iPad, I choose the surface book. So far I am really liking it . Some of the apps for games that I play are a little different than what I am use to..but that's ok! I like that it can go from a laptop to tablet with just a click. Definitely would recommend.

We did this purchase by phone from Biloxi to Starkville Ms. The associate was very helpful. My son's pc failed, he is an engineering student at MSU, his need was immediate. Your associate at the location was very helpful, and did an excellent job of helping us fill this need.

Love this! The options of use as a tablet or book combined with the technology allows for endless possibilities. Productivity is easy using it by audio / video recording notes, typing or handwriting with the stylus pen, and many cool, easy to use programs, makes this an amazing buy.

I have purchased 3 surface pro's...so that should tell you how much I like them. I actually love them. However they do have an issue with their pens. I was hoping that as i kept getting the newest ones, that would go away. However, it is an ongoing issue, having to get new pens. That is the ONLY reason for 4 stars.

I was considering get a Mac book then talked to the best buy salesman and discussed the differences between both and ended up going with the Microsoft Surface and it was such a better decision! So thank you kind sales
