I think that overall it is a great laptop that can do a lot of things. Honestly when comparing this to the Mac books I thought to myself why not get more for the money when it comes to features and stop buying just the apple name and I have loved it.

This is a great laptop and tablet all in one. It was a little more than I planned on spending but has been well worth the extra money to have a 2-1. Very sturdy and well built. I have three little kids and even around them it holds strong.

Excellent laptop that's made juggling work and school much easier. The interface with One Note has made this tool extremely valuable. There was an issue with it non powering up after falling asleep, but Microsoft has put in a fix for that. All good.

I was helping my sister pick out a computer for her son...this one's a little more expensive but it should last him for years...a much better system that covers all the needs...still has a USB port which many ultra slim systems don't have

Reliable, fast. Haven't used the tablet mode much in retrospect because it is still much more convenient to use an iPad for browsing, but being able to detach the monitor is nice when I want to show my colleagues a graph or something

I was looking for a tablet to replace my iPad with and hopefully get a decent laptop afterwards. Enter the Surface Book: a tablet and laptop. I love this thing, I use it so often it has taken me away from my desktop. That is very hard to do.

I've had the surface book for about 2 months. No complaints. Just now it tends to freeze on me every once in awhile. But geek squad helps out a lot. Also get the insurance I had a surface book before and only lasted a week and with the insurance they gave me a new one.

This machine has the same specs as my excellent Surface Pro 3. Except I bought this one for the larger screen and sturdier laptop feel. I was happy with that, but the facial recognition sign-on still has me cheering out loud every day!!

As teacher I need a tool that can be trusted for lesson production and document creation. As a writer I need a flexible tool for producing and editing manuscripts. The Surface Book (without performance base) is the perfect device.

I love it. However, I have encountered 3 problems already - computer has frozen twice, and has also refused to be turned off. I had to leave it overnight to drain the charge, recharge and then turn it back on. On the other hand, why isn't my purchase In my history?

I originally bought this product for my husband for an early Father's Day gift. He absolutely loves this computer so much that he is now considering buying our kid one is the MS computers for graphic designing. This is a great computer.

I am a college student and this is one of the favorite computers to ever use (out of 3). The versatility and its functions make productivity even easier. Touch screen is great along with the look. Can't wait for the Surface Book 2.

This is my first time owning a lap top computer and i love the convenience of it I'm still learning how to use the microsoft 'system I was used to my Mac. There's a lot to learn about this Surface computer but I'll get it down with time.

The Microsoft Surface Book is easy to use. I love the touch screen. It's perfect for business trips so I have my personal computer with me when I'm out of town. The detachable screen is super on crowded flights.

We have only just begun to use our new Surface Book, but have found it to be great so far. Our only issue is how sensitive the touchpad is. You have to find the correct spot to press or you get drop downs when you don't want them.

I went to the store to purchase a replacement laptop. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and showed me the Surface book and explained the many, many bells and whistles. This is a great computer and you wont be disappointed.

Love how you can use it as a tablet and computer. The only thing I guess that kindda bugs me is sometimes when I lift the screen up the whole laptop lifts from the table. Sometimes even if I use 2 hands its still hard for me to open it. I guess its just me.

The laptop is good, albeit a bit overpriced. I thought I was acceptably computer literate and had good experiences working with various Windows platforms, but Windows 10 bears no resemblance to previous Windows and one can't draw on previous Windows experiences to teach yourself Windows 10. I wish I had followed my original thought to switch to Apple. This purchase has meant that I had to purchase a Dummies book, but I fear that I will need to find classes for instruction in Windows 10. Best Buy should offer Windows 10 instruction with the purchase of a unit with Windows 10 installed. This has been a very frustrating experience for me. I can't really review the unit because I can't actually use it yet.

Nice looking computer, does what I need it to. I did have an issue with the camera after an software update was done, but once I called tech support, they logged into my system and addressed the issue. Really like the one note function with the pen

What an improvement! We had the Surface Pro and upgraded to this. We use it in the field and feel it bridges the gap between lap top and tablet. It works well as a notebook.It's great to have the SD port to expand the memory.
