I have only tapped the "surface" of what this can do. So far everything i need to and more. Not sure about gaming performance but if you want somthing for thay, a desktop is a muvh better alternative.

I really like my surface, the only thing I can complaint I have is, that Google chrome crashes constantly with windows 10. So now I am trying out Firefox, I don't really care for Microsoft edge.

I like the fact that there are really only 2 moving parts in my surface book...and they are both fans. I like everything about this product , it runs cool, great resolution and a great product.

I've had my surface book for almost a year. I haven't had any issues with it so far especially for being a college student. I was a little hesitant with the price but in the end I love it. Only concern is the weight.

I really like my new Surface Book. It is very durable. I love how I can detach the screen like a tablet or flip it around. It's only fault is it freezes often. Sometimes it's slow but that could also be my internet.

I was a bit concerned going in with this being smaller, but it is powerful and has a very good battery. I can have it on for an hour or two and very little of the battery has been used.

I think this is a great laptop for anyone, I am a student and I love it for class, studying, and free time. I love that you can change it from a laptop to a tablet, it's just a great device.

Great for traveling, light and portable. I used it to do my work while on vacation (payroll). Log in to the program and yes it works. Also used the tablet for jotting notes while on the plane.

Excellent performance and superior accuracy with the included pen. Base model has high end specs - Core i5, 8GB RAM and 128 SSD, but has a high end price to match. Good for professional offices (healthcare, legal).

The only problem is that there is no special holder for the pen and it fell off the magnetic strip already in a giant lecture hall. So now I have to buy a new one. Other than that it's an awesome laptop for school!

We were debating between Apple and Microsoft and with all the features and capabilities of the Microsoft that's what we decided to go with. Should work great for her four-year degree

Gave up on carrying my dell laptop and switched to the surface book. After you get use to Window 10 it is a breeze to use. Great graphics and the key board has a good feel to it.

Initially skeptical, but was blown away by this piece of technology. It runs Windows flawlessly, in laptop mode and tablet mode. Amazing computer and great investment for my masters degree !

Great laptop and tablet combination. The tablet is a little large in comparison to an I-Pad, but the benefits of the USB ports outweigh the convenience of the smaller screen (for me anyway).

This could be the end of the notebook and tablet, why have just one. The portability and convenience of a tablet and the power of a computer. Not lacking as a computer or a tablet, with a great stylus.

Not only do I sincerely love this laptop, but I have recommended it to two colleagues already who just got them! We cannot get enough.

How to get a brand new one because the my first Surface Book kept shutting off. It didn't hold battery charge you for the first couple days

I made the transition from Mac to this laptop and I've had a steep learning curve. I still don't know all of the capabilities but it's treated me well. I'm still more comfortable and capable on a Mac.

I am terribly disappointed with my expensive Dell laptop. The Surface is powerful and reliable. I am very happy with it and will probably buy a another one soon for my business.

I was skeptical regarding the surface. But I have been very pleased. It performs as well as other laptops in the class. The functionality is superior to other laptops. It makes the Macbook look like a toy.
