ran smooth and stylus worked great but limited USB ports (2ea). I have a wireless mouse I use at times and with an external drive for dvd movies or data all the ports are used up and external storage is left out. Furthermore, when you are watching a movie from external storage (i.e. movies) and you disconnect the tablet from base, the movie immediately cuts out because the processor in the tablet does not handle the codec needed for movies in dvd format. For the same price I was able to upgrade to an i7 spectra 360 with 3 USB ports plus HDMI.

I really like the light up keyboard. I bought it for college and I'm sure it will last me all four years. One of the smallest and lightest laptops I have ever used.

It's light and good for someone on the go. Good for photo editing. Good touch-screen sensitivity. Study - I dropped it off a table and not a scratch.

I can multi-task. Stylus is very nice. But if you want it as travel size tablet, I think surface pro is more easy to travel with than surface book.

MS has finally come out with an iPAD killer. This is a business pro device and has all the specs and features you need. I am switching all my employees to this!

I have used many laptops over the years. I have a surface pro for travel, but use this one the most. Because of the larger screen is can get more done with it.

I love this 2 in 1! I really whine it would have been better if it was able to go into tent mode. Other than that I love it! And the graphics are awesome!

The quality of display is impeccable the fact that the screen is big enough to carry around it makes it easy to take notes, and it is very liable as a tablet.

The Surface book is a great laptop, I found I needed more hard drive room so I returned the I5 128GB computer and got the I7 512GB laptop. Best buy was great about the return.

Very high quality. Case is stout, but doesn't weigh 50 lbs. The pen is awesome, and the bigger, detachable keyboard is easy to type on, even with chunby hands.

I chose the i5 with 8mb ram and 128gb drive for portability, the sad slot, pen and great screen. I had been using an IPad Pro 12.5 and like this much more

I absolutely love my choice In laptop for school. It allows me have great study techniques and it's very compatible with all my schools required programs.

I like to have the ability to use not only as a tablet but also a computer and have the ability to plug in monitor to do presentations. Highly recommend.

I have only had my surface a few weeks, but so far I love it. I like that I can detach the screen and have a tablet for on the go, seems to be the perfect laptop for me.

My son has been enjoying using his surface book for drawing and colorizing his anime drawings. The removable tablet function is perfect for doing this.

I am artist learning digital art and love the Surface book. It is great for every day online stuff and wonderful for art. The pen works great!

Good build quality. Feels a little heavy on actual screen surface, but won't tip over. The release button sometimes get confused and doesn't know whether to let go or not.

Had surface pro 3. But screen broke when it flipped backwards and came unhooked from keyboard. Won't happen with new one...yay!! Plus screen bigger.

Was glad to get it, my daughter was l[king fwd to havin one of these for xmas. So we got now , i hope she likes it. Was a very good time to purchase. And i love best buy.
