    I rated this with "5" stars, because it is in a class of its own as a Windows tablet / laptop replacement! I purchased this unit on Christmas Eve, brought it home and it would not power on, I was so disappointed. Exchanged it Saturday after Christmas for a working unit, it blew me away with performance, screen quality and multitasking! I purchased the base unit ($1,499 plus tax) just so I could see if it lived up to the hype, and YES it does. However, here's why I won't be purchasing it again: 1. That first unit that wouldn't power up, that was a shocker at this price. 2. I need more storage space (not an SD card); more RAM and preferably the I7 processor. To get that, Microsoft wants me to pay $2,699.99, plus tax. That's NOT going to happen, but I would consider something in the $1,000 range for the specs I need. Microsoft got it (almost) PERFECT with the Surface Book series, but they're trying to compete with the MacBook instead of catering to their loyal Windows base. I have an iPhone 6S plus for phone; an iPad for web surfacing and entertainment; I need Windows and Office for the work environment which is a requirement, not a need. I will buy a unit based on my specs above, when Microsoft (or a competitor) has a Surface Book equivalent with a reasonable price structure. Until then, I'll sit on the sidelines.
