This is my first notebook/tablet...i must say that i am really impressed! it is very powerful, and i really love the convenience of the touch screen!

Love the versatility of a Tablet and Laptop in one. Multiple folding configurations for ease of use, complete with Pen for writing quick notes.

A tablet with the features of a laptop is what sets this device apart from the Surface line. Excellent performance and great battery life.

When I first bought the unit, I absolutely loved it. It's so much better than my apple iPad and my macbook air. The ability to turn the screen around is great. The only issues I've had are (i) the login screen never seems to recognize me and (ii) my microsoft outlook continues to hang-up. (Might be an Office issue instead of the Surface but I've never had that problem on any of my mac products)

This is a very fast machine and is easy to use as a tablet or laptop. I now only have to carry one device on business trips.

Upgraded my Surface Pro 3 because of issue with the charging element of the Pro 3. This is a nice computer with vesatility.

This laptop does everything I throw at it. It far exceeds my expectations. I am an it professional and it works flawlessly.

I was looking for a computer to handle my photography business. My initial thought was that I'd get a solid laptop, then a desktop, and eventually a tablet down the line. With the Surface Book, I can pop off the screen to create a tablet. I added a dock and external monitor, and now the Surface Book serves as all three: tablet, laptop, and desktop. And the resolution is excellent!

Microsoft did a great design with this laptop. It's elegant and different than any other laptop so far. Being able to detach it from the keyboard and use it like a tablet is great! Drawbacks are that it comes with a hefty price tag when you go all out with RAM and disk space and it is quite heavy compared to other laptops available. But then you don't get that powerful GPU either.

So far, this is the best computer I've ever owned. It comes on so quickly, and shuts down so quickly, I don't even use the sleep function anymore. I also have the versatility of using the pen for drawing, or the touch features. It detaches so easily to turn it into a tablet and vice versa. I highly recommend this. I was also worried about moving to Windows 10. My previous laptop was Windows 7. But thankfully, I had no problems and like Windows 10 very much.

After several tries and extensive research, I decided to go for it with top of the line Surface Book. Love it!

This is a killer fast and incredibly light device. I own a 2015 macbook pro and ever since I bought the surface book, the macbook has been collecting dust on my desk. I decided to shell out the money and get the top spec device. And I don't regret it for a second. This thing makes my life so much easier at work and at home. Constant updates from Microsoft makes me feel assured that they will stand behind this product unlike other licensed PC builders.

Usually windows laptops are clunky, I was surprised that this thin unit had the power needed to get the job done. Remember though that 50% of the price comes in the power of the processor. This one I insisted on getting the latest I7 processor and as large of an SSD as I could get. This machine is so powerful I can use it on a dock as a desktop when working and then pop off the screen and use it as a tablet when I am just goofing off.

This is a really great alternative to a laptop. A bit larger than the other surface models with a more substantial keyboard. Video card was in the keyboard in the model so it doesn't use up the processing capability like the others do. It does cost more, but it's more of a computer than a tablet. Once all the updates were loaded, startup was a breeze!

I have been working with computers for over 40 years. I am also an early adopter of technology. This Surface Book has got to be one of the best engineered and reliable pieces of equipment out of the box I have purchased in a long time. Much better than my Surface Pro 3! The price was a bit daunting at first, but well worth the premium!

Nothing slows this machine down. Great recognition software and the pen works like a charm!
