Good Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer is of good quality, if you are use to a large monitor this one isn't for you. If you can move past this, it has a ton of possibilities and great for pictures

Great pc for college student
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is working as was wishing for. It fits with an industrial engineering degree for college student. I am very satisfied with the capabilities of the Surface book. You can draw on screen, or use as pc or can remove screen to use as a tablet. Very pleased with performance of the surface book.

Great computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This portable system has met my needs for photo editing. It is lightweight but fast and powerful enough to handle LR and Photoshop. The ability to edit on location is a game changer! The screen is good and the keyboard has a very good design. Overall..a win-win for me!

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for work. I was looking for a laptop that was a 2-1. I love that the top detaches making it truly a tablet. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a laptop that doubles as a tablet.

I am so happy with my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love, love, love this laptop. I am still getting use to the more recent operating software, but am realizing that it has great potential. Easy to carry along on trips but at the same time is large enough to use with autocad.

Great Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Laptop, had it for 10 months now. Gave it 4 stars because it is a bit pricey but the keyboard is much smoother than my Lenovo was and wish it had a number pad.

Best Purchase I Have Made
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a big IT guy but I do know what I wanted in a computer and this one does not disappoint. Everything it says it can do is exactly that. I really like the way you can disconnect the screen and use it as a tablet.

In a Class by Itself.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Summary: This is a beautiful laptop that outperforms and out-looks all of the other general-purpose laptops, with a premium price. When you consider the additions of pen and touch input and a detachable tablet, it becomes much more at a very good price. How I got here: In the two weeks that I’ve owned the laptop, I’ve been delighted, frustrated, frustrated some more, then delighted. It has taken a lot of work to get to this point but I am not returning the unit; I am very happy with it. (For those that say this never should have happened, I agree…and I’ve had similar experiences with the first-models of Apple, Dell, HP, Microsoft, and many more). Details: First, the bad news. IMHE, you have two choices: wait until you can get unit that has shipped from the factory after Nov 15, 2015; or be prepared to do some resetting. From my experience, if you have a before-Nov-15 unit, you should (1) out-of-the-box, after you’ve started it and signed in and set up internet connectivity, you should immediately RESET the laptop to factory baseline (even through it theoretically has already been done), (2) download all of the updates, including firmware (11/2), drivers, and Windows 10 update (11/12), and (3) only THEN start putting in your programs, data and all of the rest. Details: Now the great news – this IS a fantastic laptop. It has glaring advantages in its screen (very nice resolution, color true and ratio), excellent (non-gaming) graphics with a power-sensitive GPU (I am running Fallout 4 on it, now), weight that is comfortable, aesthetics that scream cool, professional-feel keyboard, cameras more like smartphone than laptop, and a smooth SSD. Don’t believe the battery-life estimates; test it for yourself since it depends majorly on what kind of work you’re doing; with a good mix of video, gaming and routine work, I’m getting 8-11 hours/day with the base, and about 2.5 hrs on the tablet. I am a very-large storage user, so I use a 512GB SD card along with my 512GB SSD; the edge sticks out to the side but no more than the pen does, so I leave it in, all of the time. For all of this, this is a premium price to pay but not completely different than others. NOW add a detachable tablet, a very smooth drawing/writing/mousing pen, and touchscreen “for free” and you have a fantastic combination. To be fair, you would have to add the price of a pen-writing tablet along with a laptop to compare prices. Of course, as with any tech, if you don’t want it or can’t use it, any added price is meaningless. I have used my SurfacePro 3 with OneNote for almost a year and a half whenever I’m in meetings (a lot) and it’s priceless. I have begun using my SB but the 3 hours of tablet time is not enough; I am now using it, folded over, with the base for a full-day’s worth of note-taking. Contrary to some reports, the tablet can be charged without the base. I have some items that are more ‘wish list’ than negatives (reposition the headphone jack, add USB3 to tablet, etc), but they are just nits. Many congratulations to Microsoft for this laptop; it’s been due for a long time. I look forward to see how Apple, Dell, and others react to this, to make the market even more fun!

Outstanding Laptop/Tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Microsoft Surface Book Pro is an outstanding mix between a laptop and a tablet and I would recommend it to anyone. I fully loaded it, which increased the price but given the features I am more than satisfied.
