I’ve had to use the warranty - it has a lot of glitches and I was not able to return it or get much help from Best Buy/Microsoft. The warranty has sent me one replacement and I will be getting another one - it’s been updated and I treat it well but the display just glitches :/

Don't waste your money

Purchased to use for work walking around, dies in 2 hours. pointless, waste of money. Keyboard is very noisy when using they keys. Wish I would have returned in the return time frame. Ended up buying a the small surface with kickstand, works great fits my work needs.

Warning - Surface Book 3

Spent over 8 hours though multiple phone calls and screen sharing with the Microsoft Support team cleaning up files and factory resetting 2 times. Finally the support team said it is probably a hardware issue with the battery and it cannot be fixed. It would need to replaced for $600 refurbished model with 3 month warranty. UGH... It would have been good to know this before spending over 8 hours on the phone with the support team. Cannot recommend the surface Book based on the issues I have experienced.

Bad design

Surface Book 3 is so loud and have a bad thermal design. laptop would normally auto shut off due to high temperature.

History of problems, don’t buy.

These computers have a history of failure, black flickering screens, slow glitchy movements, blue screens... and I’m just outside of the return window with Best Buy (only replacements now) so neither Microsoft of Best Buy will do anything but offer a replacement. I’m already on my second return, I wish I never bought this and someone would let me return it so I didn’t pay 1300 of my hard earned money. Too bad.

Very dissapointed

Went to use it this past Sunday only to find a hairline crack right down the center of the screen. Unit was not dropped or abused. Microsoft will not replace it and want $500 to repair it. Purchase at your own risk.

I had to use a warranty to get a new one TWICE and it still had issues of a black screen. Geek squad was NO help. I would not recommend purchasing this computer at all!

The screen cracked in less than 2 months

She said that the screen cracked for no apparent reason while in her back pack. The screen cracked for no apparent reason within in 2 months. Currently making a claim for this item.

Such a great laptop

I am still learning all the features included, but after having a surface pro 4 years ago and circling back to Microsoft I can say that I truly missed everything about them! You can edit wonderfully strictly with the apps installed.

My screen will black out in the middle of doing something, the headphone jack has issues and won't play any sound, and I'm now having serious issues with it not turning on/coming out of sleep mode. The screen will stay black but the keyboard backlight will light up. It's a pretty buggy computer after a while. It's been happening since maybe a year after purchasing. It's not a bad computer, but I've had more problems than I would prefer. I'm a college student and it's blacked out on me during class and while studying for exams.

My experience with this computer :(

First, the headphone jack stopped working. Second, the battery on the tablet dies after one hour. Third, some of the keys stopped working. Fourth, the screen will freeze and the volume will stop working. This can only be helped by pressing the volume and power button for 15 seconds. It restarts your PC and interrupts workflow. Fifth, the screen stops working after awhile. This review is about the first Surface Book, but I am begging you to check the reviews on the Microsoft website if you are considering buying the 3rd version. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. NO LAPTOP SHOULD BE RATED 3.2 STARS!!! Going into my junior year of high school, this is completely unacceptable.
