Be careful—hit or miss

When talking to the tech and tell him what I needed it for and how I used it I went with this set up. The set up was very slow and would not open multiple docs and programs I needed. Very disappointed on this one. Went back, paid more to get a faster one.

Only problem is that it was defective right out of the box. Freezes on lockscreen and randomly loses picture on the screen when I'm working on it. Returned for Razer at same price. Much better value there.

Extremely Slow

And what a disappointment it was. It ran super slow right out of the box. Taking several minutes just to open simple applications such as word or Chrome. Geek squad wanted to charge me $200 to look into it... As much as I don’t want to start from square one my only other option is to return it. Very upset and Best Buy didn’t seem like they wanted to help. Maybe I have bad luck and these might run well but I am very skeptical to waste more time and money to try a different one.

Detatch screen wouldn’t work

I bought this laptop open box excellent geek squad certified and was SO excited about using it. But the detatch didn’t work; the lap top would shut down anytime you hit the button, so i don’t know how this got past that certification! I took it to geek squad and I was told corporate would call me about my case # in 48 hours but it’s going on four days now and no phone call!! Im trying to exchange it, I don’t want a refund. . We’ll see what happens.

I hate this computer with a passion

Its only a year old and it keeps crashing (blue screen of death) everytime I try to run photoshop. I'm a design major, my whole career runs on photoshop. Absolute waste of money and I regret buying it.

Seems to overheat, the on/off button, doesnt work, touch screen does not work, no mouse to be found, just a big white square in middle of screen.

Expensive and not worth it.

I have been having problems with the charging port, the usb port and sd port. The computer does not recognize it, it does not pop up. If so, it disappears within a minute. I then inserted my sd card and hard drive to my sister's laptop, and it worked. Her laptop cost around $300. That's embarrassing. I bought this laptop so that I can edit photos and videos. When ports are not working that is a HUGE problem and delays the process.

I should have learned my lesson with my first Surface Book, but shame on me. If you're deciding purchase a surface book, don't! Buy something more reliable. After a year, the screen stopped turning on. It's a common problem!!!! Worst laptop experience with this.

First, it is really easy to get a display issue. My screen turned to be a black screen and it's back to normal after few seconds. So I requested a replacement/repair, I always faced the display issue after the service. Now, I request my 5th replacement/repair service. Don't get this item. Don't waste your money on this item.
