Still, it works like it is supposed to. It's a bit cumbersome how I have it, laying on the desk, due to the restriction of cord length. Not that it's a short cord, just can't fish that box through.

It just doesn't work

I spent half as much on a USB device and it was set up in 2 minutes.

I have a home station and it works wonderful. The only Downside to it, is that there is no HDMI port so you will have to get a mini HDMI to HDMI cable or an adapter.

It's a No-brainer

I don't like the face that the dock uses a proprietary interface so if you have a surface and want a dock, its the only game in town.

My clients have to unplug it from the power source to reboot it to get the Monitors to show up. Firmware updates ran and still having the same issues. Microsoft can do better than this!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 4k monitor hooked up to this dock and I have to reset my Registry entries for the dock EVERY time i take my PC out of the office and back again- otherwise it resets the max resolution to 1080. VERY frustrating- and highly discussed online. Aside from a RegEdit file you can download (that I keep on my desktop permanently for easy resets) - Microsoft hasn't done anything to solve this. Aside from that- it works great... but I have a feeling MOST people use this for external monitors... not ideal...

Everything connects to dock and just one charging cable connects to laptop. Leaving charging cable that comes with it to stay in laptop bag fo travel.
