I had been needing more USB ports to plug all of my cords into and was also able to plug an Ethernet cable in as well. De cluttered my desk and made my small working space more efficient. Charge my Surface faster as well. Great product. And Best Buy had it in stock and on sale.

I feel so much more efficient when I'm out of the office by having only ONE computer wherever I go! The surface dock has given me the best of both worlds! A full-size monitor, keyboard and mouse when I'm at my desk, and a portable tablet when I'm not! I also chose to set up my display so the surface pro becomes an extra monitor!

The dock idea is awesome. A hub to connect monitors, Ethernet and USB devices is fantastic. However I had to swap my dock out with a new one because it kept disconnections my monitors or causing the monitors to flicker. Onc I exchanged it I have not had any problems.

If you have a desk with a large monitor, keyboard, and mouse, this is a great fit for your Surface Pro 3, 4, and 5 (pro). it charges your surface at the same time. If you like dual screen you can put up to two monitors through the mini-display port or just use one with your surface.

This is my first dock, so I don’t have any others to compare it to. I can say that it does exactly what what I wanted it to do, it turns a tablet into a desktop provided you have a mouse, big screen, and maybe a keyboard to ad to it. External drive helps too. Couldn’t be happier.

If you are looking for something to improve your prodcutivity and make your Surface product better when at your desk, get this. It does everything you would expext for this type of product. No complaints expect maybe price. Look for a sale if you have time to wait.

Fully funtional. Works as advertised and makes it more convnient to use you surface pro device while at your desk. The design could be improved slightly to allow only 1 brick (of the two) to be used as a portable charger. However, this is a minor issue as it is not specifically intended to be portable.

so for it's great. read of a few people having issues but so far none for me. in fact it fixed the random shut off or blinking of one screen while I was working. I have two monitors plus the surface in use with this device. I am using 8.1 so I don't know how this works on 10 or the latest surface.

The product works as expected, most of the time. A couple of firmware issues in both the dock and the Surface Pro 4 prevent it from being 100% 5-star, mainly having to do with the monitor out. I would say every other time I connect the Pro 4, I have to disconnect the power from the wall on the dock and reconnect to make sure I get the monitor to display; otherwise, it just goes to the Pro 4 screen. I'm betting it will be resolved, but until then, I'm giving 4 stars.

I needed a new power cable so that I could use the Surface Pro 3 at home. I decided to go with the this docking station instead. It works GREAT. I can charge my Surface and use multiple USB ports at the same time. It also has an Ethernet port, an audio out and two video outputs.

A must have if you are looking to add some display ports as well as usb. I don't like that the brick has a power brick but it makes up for it with the connection speed. Magnetic attachment slaps right onto the surface e pro so no matter how many times you add and remove it it won't ware out.

I like the new surface pro dock, I think I might prefer it over the older one. It's small, and allows me to choose what angle I have the screen on the surface at--which the old one didn't. I do wish that it had a magnet in it to attach the surface pen to, but it's not a dealbreaker.

I have been taking my old records to a shop to have the records turned into cd's. I set up my computer and burned my first record in 1 hour. The second record was easier because I already had the computer set up. Great and I will save $25 dollars each time I turn vinyl into a cd

For those who may find that there aren't enough space on the tablet's screen itself, a cheap purchase of a HDMI cord does really help with the screen real estate tremendously. It also minimizes the amount of cords on your desk with its multiple usb ports (To charge/sync) other devices.

Nice docking station. Easy set up, works great. I rated it only for stars because I preferred the original docking station that I could drop in the stand and squeeze as opposed to using the surface stand. However this station has an additional USB port. It also takes up less room on desk.

We wanted to use our Surface Pro 4 as both a portable computer and a desktop. This dock made that possible by creating many more ports which we connect our monitor, mouse, keyboard and network cable. We needed to update the dock’s firmware but that was easy to do.

Love the surface dock so far. Do wish the cable from the adapter ( not the dock itself) to the plug was a bit longer. Also wish it had a dedicated power button. That would be great when using it with a laptop in clamshell mode. Otherwise super well made and generally great.

This thing is heavy! But it works great. Very convenient for use with docking to dual monitors and a LAN. It's very convenient to either just keep your Surface charged at work or home and super easy to dock and start doing some dual monitoring!

This dock does the trick to transform your laptop to a traditional desktop computer in 5 seconds. It adds a ton of value to the Surface Pro 4 package by allowing your tablet to function as a laptop, tablet and desktop, really unlocking the awesomeness of the Surface Pro 4.

This docking station in the best. Easy to hook up to the Surface and now I can use an external keyboard, mouse and external screen. For home or office, working with the dual monitors makes multitasking a breeze. Highly recommend this product.
