Good choice as a dedicated dock on your desk. Not recommended for commuters or travel. Has a power brick too not shown in the photo. Better off with third party USB 3 hubs and display adapters.

Must have for Surface owners

This dock allows for connection to a desktop monitor as well as additional USB connections. Essential piece for any Surface user/owner. Dock is around 5" long and 2.25" wide, about an inch tall. Not a space taker and sits out of the way on my desk.

Great docking station for my Surface Pro 4

With only one magnetic connector to my SP4, I can now instantly hookup an additional wide screen monitor, my Wacom tablet, additional sd storage, a full sized keyboard, and blu-ray disc drive. I love it!

Perfect for Work from Home Stations

Works perfectly

It works perfectly to allow me to extend my desktop, and the ability to simply unplug it and take it with me has made it possible for my surface to serve as both my laptop and my primary office computer.
