I’ve had the doc for some time now and I’m very happy with it. The only small issues I have had with the doc is sometime when working in excel or MS access is when i use the scroll bars up and down or side to side the contents of the app blur. I have to move the window to get it to unblur what I was looking at.

While the doc is a bit pricey, I found it to be a great tool in helping me to organize my peripherals in using my new Microsoft Office book as a desktop. It comes with a great number Of input opportunities to run external drives, speakers a mouse etc. I would say that it is a must own if you are going to use it mainly home office setting

Purchased the docking station to run 2 monitors on a Surface Pro 3. It drives 2 27" monitors without problem. Rarely, it has an initial issue with getting the correct monitors to display when first connecting in the day. It is easily fixed by just removing and replacing the connection to from the docking station to the Surface.

I bought this dock for my home office primarily to attached a second monitor and speaker. Everything has worked fine so far. I did have an issue as others at the outset with my monitors remaining at the resolution I wanted, but eventually after some hit and miss, all works fine. I wish however that an hdmi plug was included.

We use these frequently. I have not had any issues.

Needed a charger but Best Buy does not carry them anymore. Bought this USB splitter only because I needed a charger that night and didn't have time to order and wait on one to be delivered. A tad expensive for a splitter/charger but it does indeed work well

I have a personal and work provided surface pro, so with the dock I have the flexibility to swap between computers. My desktop setup is simple and clean because I can keep the surface closed or I can leave it open and have it serve as a second monitor.

The Surface Block adds additional USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet connectivity and other ports needed for the Microsoft Surface Pro. Needed to connect the Surface Pro to a router. Recommended device to have the Surface Pro work as an excellent desktop computer when keyboard is attached.

Purchased this when my iMac died and my surface Pro 4 became my only computer. Needed to use a bigger monitor and add external hard drives. Now I am loving the freedom to use my surface as a desktop when connected or as a laptop/tablet when I disconnect. Wish it was a bit cheaper but very well made.

Simple to install and it uses very minimal space in your desk area so it's for sure a nice thing to have if you have dual screens, mind you, you will have to buy mini display port adapters if your monitor does not have the port but over all it's nice.

The surface pro4 unfortunately comes with only one usb port with an additional charging spot in the adaptor but none elsewhere. It does not have an ethernet lan cable spot. These issues are circumvented by the surface dock and with the deal of 100$ it was a steal according to me

Really like this DOC. I replaced an old desktop computer with a new microsoft surface. This doc allowed me to keep the entire set up I had and only replace the desktop unit itself. Kept the monitor, printer, keyboard and mouse. It's almost like I don't even know the desktop is gone. Great unit.

I had a SP 2 which failed. It was replaced with a SP 3. I also have a SB. I have a 25 inch external monitor which I can use with either machine because of the surface dock. It is very compact and takes up little space on the desktop. I can position it so wires hang off side of the desktop.

I was unable to use the mini DisplayPort ports with my Acer monitor at first. After some research, I found that the dock needed a firmware update. I downloaded the tool and updated the firmware and now everything is working fine. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/surface-dock-updater

I am using it as I type this on one of my double monitors and wireless keyboard. The old dock only had one minidisplay input and this has two. I read some customer complaints about it online but have seen none of those problems. I would highly recommend this product!

We have purchased several of these docks, and the only issue that we have encountered is when the connector is dislodged from the computer accidentally. Sometimes it requires a reboot to regain all of the connections from the dock to our external flat screen monitors. Otherwise it works great!
