It’s pretty much the only dock you can use for the surface, works well. Would buy again

Smaller than I thought it would be. So surprised that all the functions are done via the power cable. Also using a wireless keypad, mouse and a 32 inch monitor. My laptop surface acts just like a big desk top.

Easy to set up and use, even with two display screens. Works well, though I wish the cord were a little longer.

Great way to add extra devices to your surface pro 4 and leave them connected to the docking station when you have the surface away. Easy to come back and plug in to the dock and everything is ready to go! A must have!

So the dock works but felt like the internet would go in and out when I used the hardwire connection. Also, had to constantly update windows on my surface pro 3 or it would not load the monitors. Seems like they could have done a better job with it.

Just plug into the charging port and you are ready to go! Easiest setup. Looks great on new monitor. Only issue is on my old monitor it was blurry, but I upgraded my monitor and it was a stunning display.

If you get the Surface Pro you will definitely want this dock. It provides for hard wire ethernet connectivity for this and another wifi only devices so when you do the giga data down/up loads your at warp speed. Very handy.

This dock is pricey but it is very easy and convenient to use. Attaching via the charging port is great. Some of my USB devices are not recognized when the dock is attached. They must be unplugged from the dock and plugged in again,

Couldn't get my new monitor to work with my surface book until I purchased this. Very easy to set up and was up and running in minutes. Only complaint is the dock should have a hdmi port so you do not have to buy a adapter.

Initially I thought I would be disappointed after using the prior version of this dock with its neat snap in enclosure. But I was surprised how much I liked the clean and uncluttered look and the ability to literally just plug in the cord and go

nice-- compact -- effective -- I am using them in a two monitor configuration -- which took until the March 2017 Windows 10 MS update to function reasonably ok -- It still does not properly retain my desktop icon arrangement consistently.

The Surface Book 2 is a perfect computer to be mobile when going between multiple homes. The Surface Dock should be a requirement if you really want to have a favorable computer experience.

the docking station is a must for any home office. I have one at the house and one work, both my personal surface pro and my work surface pro are easy to plug & play to either docking stations.

Before this docking station I had to purchase a 3rd party box that supports dual monitors and the HDMI to Display ports were a pain, the dual monitor support is this has means no more 3rd party stuff! Great device!!

We use our Surface for school and work, and to be able to bring it home and just simply plug it in with one magnetic cable is very easy. Plenty of USB ports and display ports for dual monitor setup.

This has definitely boosted my productivity and made my surface even more amazing. I think that the only improvement that I could see is to make it mountable. Or have a better cord management.

Simple, asthetically pleasing overall, but could use more USB ports, but a hub works just fine. It's very nice to connect all peripherals, and an external display through one plug. When you have to go, just unplug and run. It's great.

I bought this device after I forgot my surface at an out of town conference. I bought it out of desperation but I am glad that I went through with the purchase because it really expands the ports on your tablet.
