Microsoft finally incorporates the ability to use multi monitor support by adding an addition MiniDisplay port (not angled like previous model).

Using this one, you no longer have to plug in the second monitor. With just one connection using the magnetic plug, you've gone from table to fully functioning desktop with no hassles.

Nice dock when they work

I keep using them because they are the only docks that provide power for the Surface that i know of.

Great connector for the Surface Book

Able Expansion

Top speeds to an outboard hard drive from my Surface book and Surface Pro are excellent. Not a cheap expansion hub, but worth it.

Otherwise, you can save your $ and it isn't needed.
