Very nice and great quality. Comes with its own charger which is a plus.

This docking station for the surface is solid, and very useful. It has one small magnetic connector that keeps all the cords out of the way. Really useful.

Despite some negative review and since this is the only docking station available for the SP-4 i have not had any major problems with it and it does allow me to add devices and detach the screen/tablet without unplugging wires.

Don't use it to connect monitors, but do use it for a separate keyboard and mouse which helps with my productivity. Had heard comments about its reliability which only time will tell.

I got this along with my surface book and got 50% on the dock during a promotion. I also purchased 2 Samsung 32" monitors to use with it and it's the best computer set up I've ever had in my office.

As any new Surface Book owner can tell you, it's an exciting computer to use, but what do you do about plug-ins like large screen monitors and external drives? Well you buy the dock of course!

Needed immediate power supply for my Surface. I have a docking station already, but due to circumstances needed something NOW. This works better in many respects to my original docking station

I use my laptop at home and have everything connected to the dock. Just unplug one cable and off you go. When ready to hook back up, plug the cable back in. You can have an external back up drive hooked up all the time. So handy.. I thought it was a lot of money at first, but it’s going to pay for itself. Oh, forgot I have and external monitor as well. I think you will like it. So many options.

Purchased it for my older surface. Could not even charge it. I was told it wasn't compatible. This thing weighs a ton! not sure whats is so heavy in it.

I purchased this to turn my surface into a true workstation. With the 2 dual monitors plus the surface display it really allows me to feel like I'm working off a powerful desktop machine.

This literally turns my surface into a desktop PC. With the display ports, multiple USB connections, and slim design my surface has become an amazing desktop PC...

only down fall of this is you cannot hook up 3 external monitors (using the DP ports on the dock AND the one on the unit) You get 3 monitors (2 external and surface, or 3 external no surface)

Doc does what it should. Works reliably. only downside would be that everything uses mini display port so you are stuck using adapters like everything else with the surface pro

I wanted to use my surface as a full pc. This dock is fantastic. I have a dual monitor setup with an external keyboard and mouse, but I retained the functionality of a tablet in the go.

I had my eye on this product the moment I bought my Microsoft Surface Pro. The only reason it doesn't haven't five stars is that the dock needs a converter cable for the monitors. But with those, I have two monitors, plus my 2-in-1 screen, to make a three-screen desktop computer. Include with it a mouse, keyboard and speakers. I recommend this as a way to have a desktop computer that can turn into a 2-in-1 on the go.

I'm using this dock with the surface go. It works as expected. Just wish it had hdmi port on it. I had to buy mini displayport to hdmi adapter since my monitor doesn't have displayport.

It works well, but microsoft really is making the cost of ownership on the surface products very high. Would have to think twice about the line, since we have come across so much accessory costs.

This dock works really well 99% of the time. I have had a couple of times where the driver appears to lock up, or I cannot get a display to work until a reboot, but it is used daily and works well.

If you have a Surface, I feel like this is a must. The Surface itself is great for travel, yes. but when you're at the house, and want to hook up a monitor, keyboard, headphones, mic, ect, this is your best bet. One easy connection, where you plug your power in, and you're up. My only issue is the price. This thing is way more expensive than it needs to be and that is a shame.
