    This has been a great companion for my Surface Book. Makes it very easy to detach and go when I need to head out to work. Love the ethernet port for fast, stable internet and the extra USB ports. My only gripe is that sometimes when connected to the dock my bluetooth audio connection will skip/stutter.

    It's very easy to connect power, external monitor, mouse, etc with magnetic adapter! Too big AC power adaptor and wanted to have HDMI interface.

    if you don't have a desktop at home or office, just get this for your surface and some cables to connect your monitor or 2 monitors to it and get a desktop keyboard and mouse. why spend money on another desktop when you can just plug this into your surface and start using it like one?

    if you have one monitor then this dock is great. dual monitors? forget it, youll spend more time watching your Surface trying to figure out where to display your desktop. make sure you run windows update after plugging your surface into it, there are firmware updates you NEED. also, get an ACTIVE miniDP adapter, passive wont translate the signal well.
