This dock has everything I need and makes it so fast and convenient to just pop on a magnetic connector to the Surface Connect port and have all the external devices work almost instantly for my office setup. With the MiniDisplay ports would have heen HDMI, but a few mini DP-to-HDMI cables from Monoprice solved that issue. Great addition to turn your ultra-portable Surface Pro into a completely-outfitted workstation with multiple monitors.

We're sorry you're encountering some difficulties with your Surface's sleep settings. We have some instructions for you to modify when you wish your Surface to go into sleep mode:
To change when the screen dims or turns off or when your Surface goes into power-saving sleep mode, go to Settings > System > Power & sleep. To view hibernation settings, go to Additional power settings > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings. In Power Options, select Sleep > Hibernate after.

It turned it into a more capable equivalent of a desktop system with expanded features. Plug in an get a desktop or unplug and Go with a tablet.
