    Best dock laptop combo I have tried. They proprietary connection works flawlessly and is so nice to use compared to the USB-C ones. A must have for a Surface device.

    It works absolutely fine. The trade-off with the surface pro 4 is that you only get 1 USP port. The dock is necessary to connect other outside connections such as video output, audio output, USB, etc. It's rather heavy as USB ports go, and the cord is about 2' too short for my normal use and work area.

    This dock eliminates the need for additional charger when using dock at your work or home office. The video ports are Mini-DP so you will most likely need display adapters.
