SUCKS
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard would be ok if I didn't have to restart the computer EVERY TIME the computer goes to sleep. The keyboard does not wake up when the computer does so I can't log back in. There may be a setting somewhere that can help with this but I am not able to find it on my brand new computer.

Very Nice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not leave reviews, ever. But this keyboard has me hooked. I used the previous version sculpt with the detached 10-key. This keyboard feels amazing to type on and the wrist pad is great as well. Only wish it would come in all black but that is because my o.c.d wants everything to match on my desk.

Best Keyboard owned! Reduced wrist fatigue.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the greatest keyboard I’ve ever owned. The keys are almost silent where my coworkers have noticed and asked about the keyboard. I was starting to feel pain on my wrists but since switching to this board my wrists stopped hurting when typing. My only complaint is the discoloration of the resting pad but that’s just cosmetic.

Love the Keyboard, but not for Windows 7
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this keyboard so I could work from home, our work machines use Windows 7 which unfortunately does not work with this keyboard well. i'm sure there is a way, but in my case it cause my computer to crash into an infinite cycle of start up to blue screen.

GOOD but here is the problem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anyone who ever bought the original corded white or black version of Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard, knows the few flaw with that keyboard was the lack of hot keys and calculator button. Now we get a wireless beautifully sculpted keyboard BUT THE COLOR IS FUGLY ! I know they are trying to match the new computers but come on.

Expect to replace
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had purchased two Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboards, one for home and one for work. Within a year and a half, both ran into issues. The battery compartment on the keyboard at home corroded, rendering it inoperable, and the keyboard that I used at work lost its connectivity ability. Although the layout of the keyboard is comfortable, it just doesn't hold up.

Waste of money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To the point, don't buy this keyboard. I've only owned this for 9 months and now I'm having to trash it because it stopped working. I've replaced the 2 AAA batteries 4 times since purchasing. During this time I've had issues on about a monthly basis where the keyboard loses it's ability to connect to my computer. Sometimes this lasts for 10-20 minutes. Sometimes it takes a day or two before it starts working again. Replacing the batteries when this occurs has never solved the problem. Sometimes a computer restart appears to solve the issue, other times, nothing I do fixes it but then randomly checking it later it's started working again. I'm also on my second computer since buying this keyboard, and I've experienced these issues on both computers. If this keyboard was wired I feel like that would resolve my issues at which point it would be 100% worth the money. But I work on my computer and I need a reliable keyboard and this just isn't that.

Love the keyboard, but eats batteries within hrs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the keyboard over a year and need to keep multiple sets of rechargeable batteries juiced up as a set is only good for about half the day. This has been happening since day one and I've been too busy to troubleshoot or take it back for another one. I see other reviews about the keyboard going dead after a month or two - I wish... This would be 5 stars if I didn't have the battery issue.

Posted .Hey there,
We are pleased to hear that you like Surface Ergonomic Keyboard! The battery issue is not standard for these keyboards, as it should last for up to 12 months. We’d like to resolve this with you. Let’s first have you troubleshoot Surface Ergonomic Keyboard: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4023516/surface-troubleshoot-problems-with-surface-keyboard-ergonomic-keyboard.
One more suggestion is to make sure that none of your keys are jammed. This would drain the battery as the keyboard would be constantly in use. This thread addresses this issue, and can shed more light on it: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/sculpt-ergonomic-keyboard-excessive-battery-drain/1d3df4a7-425a-444e-9caf-1bf13d7e036b.
We hope that either of these solutions will resolve this battery issue. If not, please be aware that this item has a one-year manufacturer warranty, and you should be able to get a new one.
Best,
Rachel

Won't do this again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nine months after purchasing this keyboard, one of the keys decided to give out. Thirteen months after this purchase, the batteries in the keyboard now have a useful lifespan of a month an a half before they need replacing. Because I don't have large hands,The domed shape of the supposedly ergonomic mouse has caused me to develop sharp pain in my wrist and fatigue in my fingers after a half hour of constant use. Expensive keyboard, I won't do this again
