The worst part was that if i did not forget device AND restart my computer the keyboard would not reconnect. In one day I had to restart the computer 3 times. I owned a wireless keyboard prior to this one and never had that issue. I was very disappointed.

This is the 6th I've purchased since 1990s. Their design is excellent but somehow the surface series (Bluetooth) is having trouble with interference. So either your computer is not picking up the signal or it thinks you are typing a wrong key, e.g., I type "abcde", the computer thinks I type "abde (c is missing)". Sometimes, it thinks I am holding another key, e.g., When I type "c", the computer thinks I am typing "control" and "c", which is causing weird behavior. Notice that I am talking about two Surface keyboards giving me this kind of weird behaviors (one was purchased 3 years ago).

I really enjoy the fact that this one is cordless and it is made out of a very durable material hope it lasts another 20 years
