Just flickers the caps/function lights momentarily when connecting to tablet and then nothing. Tablet not detecting keyboard at all. Outside return period, so looks like I'll have to hope and pray that Best Buy can help me exchange it for a working one.

This product, the Surface Type Cover for the Microsoft Surface Go 2, was provided to me free of charge in exchange for an honest, unbiased review, which I provide below. There is no other way to put it. The Surface Type Cover is simply a must-have for the Surface Go 2 computer. Without it, the Surface Go is a small computer with a keyboard that pops up on the screen whenever you need one like a smartphone. This is fine for occasional text input like you do with a phone, but if you want to any kind of significant keyboarding, such as creating or editing a document with Microsoft Word, a pop-up keyboard just won’t do. You want a regular keyboard. On top of this, the Surface Type Cover is very well matched to the Surface Go 2. The Type Cover snaps into place magnetically, and you are all set. The Type Cover never needs to be removed as it can be folded up while attached to the Surface Go.
