The keys are tactile and very responsive. It's easy to use. It starts working as soon as you plug it in. I like that it puts my surface go is sleep mode when I close the keyboard. Great purchase!

MS GO Keyboard

It is functional and works as it should but does not feel premium. Seems to flex much more easily then other surface keyboards as well. That said I would have purchased anyway as it protects the screen when not in use or travelling.

It's possible that for your fifth generation Surface Pro, you may have purchased the "signature" version of the Type Cover, which has a slightly different feel than the basic Type Covers. Great keyboard

It's pretty comfortable, responsive, and the texture on the back is great. I like how it folds up on a raised angle too if you want. It connects and disconnects easily and the Surface responds immediately.
