I do wish the keyboard was backlit to enable usage without a light. The trackpad works pretty well, but there are quirks. Intermittent stopage of scrolling, and a shift key issue- all resolvable with a google search, but annoying nonetheless.

Thanks for reaching out! Your Surface Go Type Cover should have backlit keys, and its possible that they are dimmed to a low setting. You can adjust this by holding the Fn button and tapping F1 or F2 to decrease or increase the brightness of your keys.

Good product but we don’t use it often

Sent it back and received a new one. Haven't had any problems since but it isn't the most durable. Keys are small but what can you expect from a 10 inch screen. Overall decent cover.
