If it isn’t on a perfectly flat surface the mouse pad and some keys don’t work correctly. I exchanged it because of this and had the same issue telling me that it is a design flaw.

Why I'm sad about the product experience: With just a "little more thought", the same low-profile, lightweight design could have been engineered with more diversity in mind. How so, do I say? Actually, I write by typing: with that, I advise that the product be wider, but narrow. The same goals can be accomplished for a more diversified audience of varying hand and finger sizes. Limiting the product to small fingers and hands is the flaw of the product strategy. Whoever designed the product must have really small hands. Shall we be more diversified in the pursuit of meeting the needs of the potential customer, please? This was my one experience. Everyone else, please do enjoy this product. Your Barbie and Ken dolls will love it!

Perfect companion for Surface Go! Slay!

The key travel is exceptional, its comfy and sturdy. It is backlit and well spaced, very easy to use. Its trackpad is big, smooth to the touch and just incredible. I am a lifelong Apple fan and I have an iPad Pro with the Apple Smart Keyboard. The Surface Go keyboard is better than the apple keyboard in every possible way. I am awe struck by Microsoft attention to detail and truly Im impressed how far their industrial design has come. Love it, enough said!

It has a great feel and doesn't feel 'small' compared to a standard keyboard. It's impressive how nice it is considering it isn't part of a traditional 'laptop.' I love the LED backlight, it's a very nice touch.

I prefer this style over the Alcantara versions because it's easier to wipe down. It does have a nice texture to it, it's not hard plastic.

Stops working after 1yr warranty expires

Now randomly repeats keys making keyboard shortcuts useless. Hampers productivity due to needing to fix typos constantly. Only solution given is to buy a new one. Far too expensive for poor durability and lackluster support. Forced to use a Bluetooth keyboard negating Surface portability. Maybe the Alcantara version fairs better. I've been much rougher with my Surface Pro 3 type cover and after 3 yrs, it still works like new. Maybe it's just an issue with the Go version. I normally don't recommend store warranties, but it's a must with these Go type covers.
