There is no difference other than the tablet capability of the Surface Pro 4. The key action is wonderful. I do not like the App restriction Windows has placed. I am not a child and can make my own mistakes if I so choose in using Apps that I need! Over all, it is has worked well until today when it would NOT turn on. It finally turned after about 10 minutes. Since I use the computer regularly in a public stetting, this would be a major irritation if that happened when I needed it most.

The touchpad and the touchscreen are both very responsive. There is no warm up or warm down time. The apps open very quickly and the screen is very clear. At 2.8 lbs. a pleasure to carry. I would recommend this laptop to anyone who is not a gamer. Take the upgrade to 10 pro. Makes a big difference. Geek squad protection is a must for a solid state computer.

It has worked flawlessly, transported easily, held up well in the face of a few minor mishaps. The textured surface around mouse and keypad (where my hands rest when I type) is very nice to the touch, the keyboard is generally comfortable to use. The camera and mic have worked well in videoconferencing; I think the speakers are quite good for a laptop.

I’ve always wanted an Apple MacBook but, after seeing this in the display I couldn’t help but choose Microsoft. Though the price is the highest I’ve ever paid for a laptop it’s a great choice for college. You can do so much. And it’s light in weight. I definitely recommend this to anyone starting college.
