During undergrad I had a MacBook and virtually had no issues. Progressing through grad school I realized that a lot of my forensic IT courses utilized specific programs that were intended to work better with a windows platform. I pretty much only use the computers basic function, but I have absolutely loved it so far! At this point, I would never go back to a MacBook!
