    Purchased a year ago and now the battery doesn't hold the charge for more than 1/2 hour. Works fine when plugged in but considering it's a laptop, pretty useless if unplugged

    I am an engineering student at UTA. I definitely recommend this laptop to another student. The base laptop is enough for college study and run student software. the big concern is about the Price which is so high for students and higher tag price for the high storage. it is expensive to buy w/ the bigger storage. the advantage is very light, I like the trackpad and keyboard. As I say, it is just enough for study. Gaming or extensive software will not be effective on this laptop. I am thinking about to exchange to get higher spec if necessary. 128gb is too small when i have multiple softwares and need room to store

    I was sold but till I figured out it will only support max 1080p which won't work with ultrawide or 4k monitors.

    I am a student and was doing LIGHT computer work (homework/Microsoft word and had a few other tabs open.) After an hour or so, the laptop overheated! I read reviews of the product online and they said overheating is an issue. I returned this the next day and bought a MacBook Air.

    Third replacement in 3 months---avoid if you could

    Second computer replacement now in three months. I had a hardware issue with the first one I bought. Left speaker was not working. Second one had software issues, and after resetting and deleting everything from it, a blue screen error still pops up and corrupts my files. I am waiting for the third device now and it will take 10 days to get back (which means I have no computer to work on for school). And chances are high that the replacement would be a refurbished one too. I am so upset with this purchase and would not recommend buying this if you have better options.

    I thought I would love this laptop. However after having it less than a week it got so hot it would not even power on. Had to trade in for an HP spectrum.

    I honestly regret buying this and not paying a bit more for a Mac, I had problems with this computer since the first week -- I should've returned it then but i waited past my 45 days and now I am basically stuck. It constantly freezes on me and give me a blue error screen, I use it for school and it is very unreliable. I plan on trying to get it fixed by manufactuer warranty but next time I will def. go for a mac.

    Just worked a few months

    The laptop is in Peru, it doesnt work since december, it doesnt turn on, if i insist, it turn on but some minutes late the screen get black, i would travel on march to Peru and i would bring it up to USA but because of the emergency i couldnt, i contact suport of microsoft in Peru but they resend to an International call With a Numbers case 1002838415. We are still waiting the solution, this is the first time it happen to me with a laptop,

    Who in there right mind puts an irreplaceable leather keyboard on a laptop. Stains after 3 months of use and believe me, I babied this laptop. Get something with more longevity and much cheaper. Should've listened to my gut. Did what Microsoft said and tried to clean it with a damp microfiber cloth and it smeared it. Only for them to say that there was nothing they could recommend.

    This laptop went completely black in about a year. Best Buy couldn't fix it and Microsoft offered me a so-called comparable one for $500.00. I told them I would never own another Microsoft product. Apparently, the battery in this laptop was in a spot that there was no way they could replace it. I can't believe that this is still being sold.

    The Surface Laptop 2 is a great device. Pros - Bright, clear and responsive touchscreen with pen input - Very fast - Windows Hello makes signing in very quick - Computer boots up in mere seconds - All day battery life Cons - The only con I have come across is lack of USB-C. With that said I'm not really sure that is much of a con at this point though. My experience with other computers that use USB-C has been mixed. Not sure the technology is ready for primetime. If your primary purpose for a laptop is not gaming, then this is the ideal choice.

    Super sleek but I bought one open box and returned it bc the mouse and keyboard wouldn't work. Bought a second one new and the lag issues everyone it needed to update and the freezing issues that constantly made me force shutdown were more than I can handle. Honestly, I'm surprised at how crappy this computer turned out to be.

    Junk! Don’t buy. This laptop lasted all but 6 months and died. Now there’s no way to get it repaired even by a professional because it’s cannot come apart without getting completely destroyed.

    Every time I’m using it and plug it to the battery (the charger) a really loud fan noise begins. It sounds like it is over heating or something (and this happens while I’m doing really simple tasks, like typing on Word).
