Very swift laptop, absolutely perfect for your average college student. Has all the necessities you required and extremely lightweight. The keyboards are the best because they make little noise.

Had a Macbook Pro/Apple for decades. This has a great keyboard for writing, comfy fabric for your palms to touch as you type, superlightweight, and really pretty good battery time!

Lightweight, compact, great battery life, and plenty of power for all but gaming or very CPU intensive applications. The screen looks fantastic and the overall fit and finish is first rate.

I'm very happy with this product. It is light and can be carried anyway, and is fast enough to meet my needs. It looks great and has a great screen. I recommend this product.

I'm extremely picky about keyboards and trackpads which is why I love the surface line, typing feels buttery smooth and swiping on the touchpad has no resistance. The processor in this device is more powerful than my gaming desktop's and it shows. Every task you do on this device is lightning quick and responsive almost to the point where its unreal. I love this laptop and I'll definitely be buying another surface laptop down the road.

Love how lightweight this computer is. I am working on learning the difference in it compared to my other one but its soft touch and lightweight are amazing. The quick charge time is awesome and how long I can go without having to charge it is phenomenal. I don't have to drag the charging cord all over with me like I had to with my old computer. It was way more than I spent on the last computer so I am hoping it will do everything I need it to do and last for many years.

The laptop isn't too big and relatively slim. Love the touchscreen and keyboard because it's tactile. No complaints about battery life either.

If this thing had usb c and a smart card reader I would say it is the perfect laptop to buy for most people. That said, it’s incredible. Solid, beautiful, powerful, portable, and with a surface dock you have all the ports you need.

I have had this device now about a month and a half and I really enjoy my new laptop. I am coming from the Surface Pro line over to this laptop and I was worried about portability at first, but this is a very light device and it maintains a pretty low profile in a bag and on a desk as well. I am a fan of the all black version even though I considered going with another color originally to save a little. The only downside to this device and what kept it from being a solid 5 star for me was the number of ports. It is clear they thought about adding other ports and then scrapped it later.

Absolutely beautiful and stunning in matte black. Scratches easily, unfortunately, but there are covers, wraps, and cases available to help avoid that. The experience on this laptop is so smooth. I can from a Lenovo Y50 gaming computer which was heavy, but also a powerhouse. The Microsoft Surface is so powerful with such a light weight and it boots up do quick. The only the downside is you can't upgrade the components and it doesn't charge through USB-C. Regardless, I don't need that, but it would be nice to have it.

For starters, it is a very lightweight device and very easy to physically handle. There let's are reasonable spaced. The display is bright enough for indoor use and some indirect sunlight use. You also have a nice battery life with it that I've been able to use for watching videos, streaming movies, working on school papers and the like and still have some left over at the end of the night. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good, lightweight, full windows experience.

Love the design, weight, and features. Definitely my go to travel laptop. Also great for use in school. Would recommend to students. The battery life is great screen is amazing and it’s just beautiful.

A great computer instead of a traditional laptop and the battery lasts a long time. I was aware of limitations when I purchased it. One limitation is that it has only one USB connection, which isn't an issue if you use a docking port for charging and connections. Another consideration when buying is that you shouldn't use Google Chrome and MS Edge because they apparently quarrel and cause the computer to lock up. If you dislike Edge, reconsider purchasing because you have to use it.

I’m a college student and I bought this at the beginning of the year. I can say that it had been a good investment. Thanks to this I was able to do my work more flexible. It fits so easily in my bag (my backpack has a laptop sleeve). It’s really light compared to other ones. I like the feel of the keyboard. It’s comfortable to use. All in all, it’s been a great using this laptop. The school year is almost over but my laptop still looks good as new!
