It is perfect for doing some light work in bed or on the couch, and REALLY great for working on a plane because of its size. It doesn't run hot, and the performance is very good. Would I recommend it as your primary workhorse? No. But it is great for a million other reasons. Once the SL3's drop in price a little, I am definitely going to pick one up for myself.

Great starting PC - Hardware could be improved

I've never really run into any real problems using the laptop. The only trade-off is the fact that the 256SSD is the *only* storage option, however it does make for fast loading times and the touchscreen is a nice option. You'll basically need to get the Surface Dock to be able to do anything (there's only one USB port on the laptop, and one DisplayPort hub), so that is also kind of annoying, but if you're an on-the-go person like me, this laptop does great.
