Laptop is durable for how frequent I have been using my laptop for personal and business-related tasks. Lightweight laptop (in terms of size/weight) that has good specs (i7, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD)

Bought this to replace the incredibly frustrating chromebook. Perfect laptop for the kids doing remote learning. Very sturdy case and keyboard. Kids like the touch screen. It's been a solid performer with no issues. Runs quiet.

The laptop is speedy fast as expected for one which came with an i7 cpu and 16gb memory. What I find truest impressive about this laptop is the relatively low price yet high end magnesium aluminum finish.

I am very please with my new laptop. It issuper fast to log on, and responsive as you navigate through various programs. The battery life is outstanding. On top of that it is light and beautiful!

Great use for consultant local government use. Quick startup, battery life and like both touch screen and Face ID access. Works great with a number of Microsoft Office applications and accounts.

upgraded from i5 Surface Pro to i7 Surface Laptop 3. Really like it so far. The i7 w 16 GB ram provides much better performance when multitasking with multiple apps open. Only challenge is holding on to it as the outside surface is very slippery.

My husband is using this Surface 3, and it's very fast with the i7 processor and was very easy to set up, including to use with his old printer. The screen is much better and easy for him to use.

Great Laptop all around, thin and easy to transport, monitor is of a descent size and the performance is outstanding. Great machine for work on the go or as an everyday laptop.

I did return this laptop. That being said, I was initially looking for another laptop to replace my aging Macbook Pro. As a photographer, I wanted a laptop that could be similar to a Macbook Pro, but on a Windows platform. I did a test of Lightroom rendering previews for 4000 images in RAW format. For reference: i9-9900K desktop: 30 minutes 2017 Macbook Pro 13" i5/8GB/256GB (4 ports, 28W CPU): 50 minutes This Surface Laptop 3 i7/16GB/256GB (15W CPU): 1 hour 30 minutes. There are a few things I can see as to why there was a performance gap: - This laptop has only 1 fan, and therefore it does not have the capacity for a higher heat output that the dual fan Macbook Pro can go with - The CPU is limited to 15W vs the 28W on the MBP. While TDP is not necessarily an indication of performance, it does mean there is more headroom. - Microsoft appears to be using 2 different manufacturers for the SSD - Hynix and Toshiba. The Hynix is the one that was on mine, and apparently is the slower of the two. That being said, this laptop is really great in several aspects: - Windows Hello is essentially Face ID for your laptop. So quick. - Standby/Resume is super quick - The speakers are tuned for vocals, and are underneath the keyboard. So playing music or videos, will be more "pronounced", and you will feel as if the speaker is in front of you, instead of on the sides like most laptops. - The keyboard! No super flat keys with zero travel like the Macbook Pros! - USB-C for charging is great and convenient. Overall, the Surface Laptop 3 is a great all around performer for daily use. Just bear in mind you may need to be patient for any CPU intensive tasks.

I've had the laptop about a month, and so far it's been great. Lightweight and powerful enough to handle everything I've thrown at it so far.

This is my 3rd Surface & I am happy I upgraded. Last one was 4 years old. I don't do an enormous amount on it but it is faster & easier to use.

Certainly one of the best windows laptops that exists for business applications. I use basically Office 365, Adobe Acrobat and web browsers. I don't do a lot of intense computing, but I'll have 20 to 30 different types of windows open at a time. This laptop handles that like a champ, never slowing down to take a break. I prefer this laptop over my MacBook Air, over the XPS 13 and the Specte 360. Each of those are top in the class, but when it comes to performance and quality I find the surface laptop to be the best. I really appreciate the solid construction, responsive keyboard and how it is fully one with windows. Not a surprise since Microsoft is hand picking the hardware that works best with its operating system.

Great build quality and performance in an awesome looking laptop. I went with the i7 and 16gb of ram and haven’t had any issues.
