graduation gift for my daughter to take to college

Needed new computer for online classes due to corona. Works great.

I exchanged it for a 15", /the 13" was too small for me.

I was very surprised to witness that my four year old Dell Inspiron 15 with only 8GB ram is much faster than the new Microsoft surface pro with 16gb ram. I thought the new PC would be much better since both PC's have the Intel Core i7 processor.

I've ordered several for my crew. Will be ordering more

Upon purchase of this new laptop I had issues with the battery. After 2 days of working with Microsoft technical support I was directed to send the unit back for replacement. I can't really comment on the unit other than I didn't get a good first impression. I only had the unit a couple days before having to send it back. I hope the replacement is much better.

I have had this laptop for almost 1 year. I bought this thinking it would be great videos with and have as an everyday laptop. I edit on an external harddrive so my laptop will not get slow. This laptop is loud and is not keeping up with what I need it to do. Hopefully I can still this and make some money it and buy something better that will allow me to edit my videos.

I have had a Surface for years and loved it. I needed a new one so I bought the Surface Laptop 3. I got it all set up and then I couldn't turn it on. We returned it and got a new one. Got that one all set up and the same thing happened. Microsoft had steps to turn it on but I didn't want to have to do that. I should be able to turn on my computer without having to do funky steps.

Returned and got a xps 13 instead. Not bad just didnt like the battery life

Power cord easily falls out. This becomes very inconvenient

I've had 2 major hardware problems in under 1 year of ownership. 1. About 1 month in, the laptop's screen experienced a critical failure. It wouldn't display anything, but it would still be functional if you connected it to an external display so it was the screen that was defective. Had to send it in, wait a week, and then got it back repaired. 2. About 3 months after I received the replacement, I noticed that every so often mousepad clicks wouldn't register. I tested this and sure enough every 3rd click or so had a chance of not registering. Both times, customer support from Microsoft was dismal. Would strongly recommend any potential buyer look elsewhere.

My Screen stopped working within 2 weeks of purchase. I did not get a replacement so I had to return it. I do not trust Best Buy's Open Box program now.

This computer does not get anywhere near the battery life that is suggested. It gets max 6 hours with one internet tab open and the brightness turned to 20%.

Ordered online to be shipped. Received a Sony DVD player instead. Customer support awful experience. Communication issues spelling normal words they could not pronounce. Took so long to get a return label, and get the item shipped to a store. Only to have that not work out either. Do to difficulty with communication at the end of the call the rep said so what your telling me is you didn’t get the laptop but you did get your DVD player. I never ordered a DVD player.

A photo app that I use isn’t compatible with Microsoft Surface Pro laptops. The screen kept going dim to bright when using even when plugged in.

product is not good as compare to apple macbook. i am using this product since last 6 months

Bought this laptop on Dec 12th and Jan 28th started having issues. My screen is half black and can't get hold of surface support.

Had this for several years now and it's honestly been great. Super lightweight and surprisingly powerful!

The computer died just over a year after purchase. I am highly disappointed considering how much I spent on it.
