It's gonna flash once in a while.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every hour, the laptop screen turned to green. I am worried about is there a flaw in this laptop. I am gonna return this. I tried three of them, they all failed with the same problem.

Expensive yet cheap feeling
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned this one for all black model. The area around the keyboard feels cheap, but is the same price as the all black model which feels more solid.

Horrible choice
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overheats, not as great for working on the go, battery doesn’t last as long. I get better use out of my MacBook than this laptop.

Great Laptop but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop so much. Its easy to navigate, performance is fantastic, picture quality is phenomenal. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is the fact that the battery life on it really isn't great at all. Other than that I am a firm advocate for this laptop.

THE WORST PURCHASE EVER!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft Surface laptop is THE WORST laptop EVER! Please do not waste your money on this useless thing, better spend it on Apple or something. From the moment I purchased this laptop in October 2020, it caused only inconveniences. Due to these inconveniences, I had to replace this laptop with the Best Buy (the place I bought it from), however, the replacement still has the same issues, so I guess it's not a problem with the particular laptop but instead with this specific version in general. So let's start from the beginning: 1. Instead of holding the battery for the advertised 11.5 hours (if unplugged), the laptop only holds 4-5 hours on the Battery Saver Mode. 2. The color profile constantly changes, about ten times a day. The colors become extremely vivid, green colors become almost white and it is hard to see things. Then, it changes back to normal in about 1 to 2 minutes. This happens repeatedly throughout the day. 3. Eventhough I put the brightness of the display to the highest in the settings, it also changes to the dark one as many times a day as the color profile changes. But then, it changes back to normal by itself after 1-2 minutes. 4. The keyboard stops responding from time to time. When I type, some keys just don't respond for a bit, but then it comes back to normal by itself. 5. I frequently get a blue screen that interrupts my work saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart it for you" 6. The last and the most annoying thing is that this laptop gets turned off by itself whenever it wants and doesn't turn back on for hours. Even if it's completely charged, it still turns off. The screen turns black, the keyboard stops responding, the power button is not responding either, but then the laptop turns back on anywhere after 30 minutes to 24 hours. (see the videos I recorded to show this issue: https://youtu.be/CxKgV7359Ro and https://youtu.be/ep9JxFnUZuM ) I am using this laptop for less than 4 months and it already has issues that most laptops don't have after years of usage. I am completely unsatisfied because I paid over $1,300 and got this piece of nonsense that works the way it wants. So guys please, don’t waste your money on this!!!!

Constant Problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a computer that constantly goes to black screen when the battery is fully charged then this computer is for you. The only things I have used it for is for school work and listening to music. The computer is roughly 2 months old. I keep having to use my husband's computer to get any work done which is over 5 years old. Don't waste your money.

bad computer, bad experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.if i could give it zero stars I would. I bought this device thinking that it the best offer in the market for my needs, but I have only gotten a bad experience, I bought it back in may last year and ever since then it has been heating up, i took it to best buy and they could not do anything about it, then they sent me to the manufacturer and it was the same thing. I got a new charger from microsoft to "solve the problem" from their point of view and it kept doing the same then they played charging the card, and i could not do a fast exchange, when i finally got the computer exchanged for a "certified refurbished" I had the same problem, now both the store and manufacturer are refusing to solve this problem if it isnt with another "cerfified refurbished" device which is clear to me that all claims made while presenting the option of a "checked" device "free of problems" is really fake. with that being said im really disappointed since it is not a cheap device but it has been a really bad device so far

Charge Port Died
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our charge port crapped out on us. There's no right to repair with Microsoft and they will make you pay $500 to replace the device if it falls out of warranty. Ours lasted just outside of its warranty. Crap device, crap service. Bad bad bad. Buy devices that can be REPAIRED.
