She felt her other laptop was too heavy. This one is light. I like that it is solid state and 8GB. My daughter opens many windows. Hard drive size is ok because most work is saved in google docs. The plug to charge is not USB. It's thin and a slight bump will loosen connection. So far, happy with purchase.

It was an easy set-up and easy to customize your laptop preferences and app icons. It is lightweight and small. I wasn't expecting it to be so small, even though I read the dimensions. I thought I wouldn't like the small screen but it actually is a non-factor in me using it for a long period of time. My only negative comment is, that the power cord connection to the laptop is a magnet attachment. It easily falls out at the slightest pull when plugged in.
